You're not too far away from being polished and pertinent.  The tune is hook-worthy, but needs some dimensional breathing-space.

Should I create a sequence in between verses?


Benny in the song is a welfare reciever asking god to loan him money.  God said such a mentality is for the devil.

Thats the core of the song.

Just that you needed to mike your guitar separately, then blend both recordings on a third unit.
