They are mostly hypocritical idiots who make millions doing what a 5 year old does every day.  I think that the GOP should agree with Obama that there needs to be some taxes added back in to prevent the sequestration.  First tax should be on all Hollywood production companies,  taxes on any company that films in a location other than California and a severe penalty for filming in Canada where most of it is done anymore.  Then any actor that makes more than 250 K should have a windfall tax applied to all amounts greater than that.

Then they should rescind what ever  breaks were given to Obama friends such as Facebook and GE where they can earn millions of dollars and pay no tax.  Have it enforced retroactively for the last few years.  Those simple steps would easily raise an a few billion dollars and not hurt our GNP one bit and if there were some effect it still would be pretty nice for those clowns in Hollywood put their money where their mouth is.

I heard this morning that the FLOTUS gave a speech on diversity before delivering the best actor award. Now I am even more glad I skipped it.   Couldn't miss a propaganda moment.

A bunch of idiots with a singular talent to ape and mimic others, with a little drama thrown in.

Who decide that they know all about all because their very narrow abilities can make millions, which they get the lion's share of.

I do like movies, just not the prevalent asswipes in them that don't know which end is up, yet make lots of noise about it.

I'm shocked that they didn't figure out a way to give one to Obama and Moochelle.  Surely they could have invented a new category for "world's most fabulous couple who inspired this movie that couldn't have been made without their beautiful existence".

No less ridiculous than Gore's Oscar and the Dronemaster's Peace prize, lol.

I stopped watching any and all Entertainment Award Programs years ago. After they started to run the country down I stopped.

I won't watch any movie on TV with Danny Glover, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, Di Caprio, either Sheen, Morgan Freeman Matt Damon, Sidney Poiter - all of whom have gone our of their way to express their extreme disrespect and anger at this county.

I don't watch most TV, don't have Cable only Basic - antenna.

I have never watched Seinfeld, West Wing in my life. When Roxanne Barr was on TV, Rosie O'Donnel, Ellen Degeneres, I never watched them. 5-10 minutes the first single watching and that was the last. Oprah (maybe 4 x in my life)

I've been to the movies 5 times in five years and walked out 3x after 10 - 15 minutes. The movie I stayed for was Dinesh Sousas 2016 Obama's America. I don't remember the other one.

I like some of the detective series but don't always watch the Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Incidentally Stabler & Benson were making $400K and episode.   Dick Wolf the Producer excessively makes the Evil Perpetrator - a Christian, Republican or Conservative.  He has done every way possible to portray them as perverts, Child Molesters, blood thirsty Serial Killers, psychotic thrill / dismember killers, Sadists, bombers, and every other type of criminal that can by created. He does that with the other Law & Order. I turn it off when he repeats it.

I hardly watch any other programs either. My favorite Wheel of Fortune. Watch Cold Case Files with Bill Kurtis - He's worth $500M

Most of what is on TV is garbage It is sad that such a large percent of the population watch it.

Are you me?   I watch Encore Westerns (Wyatt Earp with Hugh O'Brian) when I watch at all or Antenna TV for the old balck and white shows.  Cozi TV as well since it has the old B&W series, The Tales of Wells Fargo with Dale Robertson.

Can you believe both Dale Robertson and Hugh O'Brian are still alive?  I was surprised to find that out.

O'Brian is still in good health.  Robertson was doing well but I read he recently had a setback and was moved to a nursing home.  O'Brain is 89 and Robertson is 91.  At least the last time I checked their ages.
