What is the kerfuffle? Trump thinks Ted Cruz is a liar and untrustworthy. If so then why would Trump want his endorsement? Trump Called Cruz a liar and attacked his family. Why should Ted Cruz endorse him? And finally any anti establishment people who think Cruz should have endorsed Trump because he is the nominee outed themselves as frauds.

That's my two penneth.

I think it's the media mostly trying to create controversy that simply doesn't exist.
Trump needs the base, but he's such an ass he'd never act like an actual adult and apologize, and Cruz has absolutely nothing to apologize for anyway.
So I guess it's a rather moot point, that is, unless you're in the media.

Lack of Senator Cruz's endorsement won't cost Trump 1000 votes nationwide as Trump haters will hate him regardless. The only question is the long term effect on Senator Cruz on a national level. I believe he made an unwise tactical political decision. Even some people in his beloved hand-picked Texas delegation were calling him out on it even started Chanting "Trump! Trump! Trump!" in the meeting just with the Texas delegation. Since they are 100% pro-Cruz that should have told him something.

There actually are Texas Republicans, even diehard Cruz supporters, that do NOT want Hillary Clinton to be the next president more than concerned of Senator Cruz explaining how he has to defend the tender emotions of his former Goldman Sach's Executive and former President Bush staffer wife (which is fairly demeaning of her since I would guess she's up to defending herself just fine.)

Well, that's the bit. It really was nothing in the real world. However it made some of the anti establishment look like hypocrites.

Because "anti establishment people" sub silentio support Hillary Clinton and the Democratic ticket?

Trump didn't need Cruz's endorsement. Rather, the central question was about Cruz himself. He signed a pledge. He restated in publicly. So... is the title of "Lyin Ted" accurate or not? That was the core question, not whether Cruz would say the word "endorse." Rather, would Cruz tell people to "vote Republican" - and he didn't.

It is important to understand Cruz did not just not endorse nor urge people to vote for Trump without the "endorse" word. Cruz did not support the Republican Party or any Republican candidate. He gave a speech as an independent candidate still running for office, not as a Republican still running for office.

That's true.  Trump supporters are not fans of conservatives.

Someone also yelled "Vote for Hillary".

Calm down Alex Jones.  There is nothing wrong with working for a company.  Trump is in the lead because he got more Democrat crossover votes than Republican.  He got the most Republican votes against him in history.

No.  Anti-establishment people support Cruz.

Why would he encourage people to vote for a liberal?

You don't need to worry.  Preibus and the establishment made sure the conservatives in the party were tossed aside the other night.  Trump is a Democrat supported liberal, so he would have been rejected otherwise.

So you admit the lyin Ted attack ws unfounded, and still you support the lib.
As to this pledge bull shit, that's before anyone knew of Trump's pedophil/Epstein connection.
Which begs the question, how can you morally support a man that sexually abuses children, or in the least, associate with a man on what is known in those circles as pedophile aisle?

Wait, you see that as a bad thing, a man refusing to go against his principles for party?

So you opposed every local, county, state and federal level Republican because ALL Republican elected officials are "liberal" and the only "conservative" Republican in the country is Senator Cruz?

Conservative Republicans are very few.  Senator Ted Cruz is one of those very few.  He is the most principled, courageous conservatives that I know of in the Senate.

It is very easy to do a little research these days to see how county, state and federal "Republicans" vote and where they stand on this issues, etc.  If people weren't so darn lazy and did some research instead of believing every twisted word of the MSM we wouldn't be in the predicament that we're in.

Good read!  Thanks!
The same problem(s) exists for using any search engine - if you come up "dry", most people, including myself, assume I either entered the search argument wrong or there is no story.  So I switch search engines, and get flooded with links - even after using the exact same word or phrase.  I have yet to find a CONSISTENT search engine, they ALL seem to ignore "pet" sites.

No, I'm not talking about Porn - I was looking for drive belts for a Flail mower and the company I'd done business with in 2007 wasn't anywhere to be found.  Switched search engines, and there is was, the FIRST entry.
The other search engine sent me to all kinds of belt manufacturers, none of which had my dual 5/8" x 57.5" belt... or anything close to it.  Worse than that, all the belt manufacturers listed had light or medium duty belts for this vintage 1970's flail mower...  But, lest anyone think, "Gee... that's OLD!!!" - not in the farm implement world, 1940's or 1950's is barely vintage. ... stuff they built back then would be Super-Heavy-Duty by today's standards.  Best of all, once I found the right source, they had literally every "wear" component for my Ford 917 Flail mower, bearings, shafts, blades, skids, belts, etc.   Google & Bing would not take me there.  Maybe some cloistered kid programmer figured, "nobody would ever want that old stuff..." and shoved it down the listing...?

In the political world, a similar thing is taking place, we need to keep in mind some politicians PAY for listings... good and bad.

Yep, it's like the post I made about "Cruz Write In Campaign" and how posting those very words verbatim in google, returns nothing.
However, I just did another check, and lo and behold, there it was, at the bottom of the first page.
So what happened, were they suppressing everything Cruz, or keywords demarking grassroot movements? Whatever they were doing, it ended after Trump was nominated.
Is anyone really surprised to see a concerted effort by leftists of all stripes in both party's and their affiliates screwing the Conservative movement? I'm not in the least.
