As bad as the teachers unions are, and we all know they're horrible, we can't blame them completely.  They only get away with what they do because parents allow them to. Parents need to do a much better job of standing up for their rights and the rights of their children.

That is only one of the reason why we pull our kids out of Public Schools and foot the bill for private schooling.  The unions control the Public Schools PTA.  When you move to a bigger city you have no say in the PTA as all parents do not come.

Our ranch is in a part of the State with very little population.  Our entire county population is 8,000.  Nearest town is 35 miles away in any direction.  The high school kids work their butts off after school and particularly in off season for football.  Any father would be proud to have a son like these guys growing up around here.  I realize that our life here is a mere microcosm of life in this great USA and I wish everyone else could experience the same scenario.  There is some hope for our young, though it is diminishing....in terms of toxic masculinity, that is.

The farm kids around our area for 100 miles are the same way.  Also  football is number one for them.
