It is the fallacy of socialism.  That when everyone has a say that everyone will work for the collective good. Humans strive for better. To think that a person who has far more skills than others is going to be Ok to get the same as others and do those hard jobs like cleaning out sewers or working at a landfill is beyond ridiculous.  They think that the ones they put up to lead are not going to work in their own self interest.

Hasn't worked yet except for reducing overcrowding.
