You may be right, but bear in mind that the media has destroyed its credibility with the AMerican people.  Also, the Democrats have created a political environment where Americans are very suspicious of public corruption.  In other elections, someone like Obama could be elected without being properly vetted.  Just as the Metoo Movement turned about and scooped up Democrats, the endless allegations and investigations may have made it very difficult for Democrats to not be properly vetted.  With Biden, part of vetting him for consideration to become President will include how he comported himself as Obama's Vice President.  What he did for his son in regards to both China and Ukraine is very relevant,

The Left can hardly expect to go after Trump's kids; and not expect him to go after theirs. Or hasn't the Left learned yet, that the LSM can no longer protect them?
