I'm saying that the money We've given to big business could've gone elsewhere, like education. Yes, there are obvious flaws, as pointed out, but We would've still been better off than just giving Our money away to businesses that were supposedly "to big to fail".  Do You not agree with that?

The truly only welfare I know of falls under the guise of Farm subsidies, which yes, needs to go away.
This is that thing I talked about, where the govt gets involved and screws things up.
The actual price of a gallon of milk when all is included, is around $20. a gallon.
If free mkt was allowed to do it's job, it would be closer to $5. a gal. saving the taxpayer a buttload of money.

Now you're beginning to understand why we hate the RINO in the party, they pushed through TARP, they in essence became liberals when they did that.

No business is to big to fail, because if the business is that important, another business will absorb it.

You should understand. It wasn't so much about saving these Big Businesses, as it was about saving the people who were running them. And the people running them were the same class of college educated twerps as the government bureaucrats handing out our money. It wasn't about saving "OmniBank", it was about saving the job of "Joe" who used live across the corridor from me in the Dorm. We used to double date with our future wives. And when I leave government, I'm going to go get a job with "OmniBank", while he works in the next administration. It's about protecting another part of the revolving door.
