Sexual Assault and should men be scared?

So I don't know any conservatives atm and I am curious as to what you all think. So when Trump and to what seems like a relatively substantial group of folks on the web, seem to be saying is that white men are to be scared because of the threat of false accusations or at least that's what I understand that to be, but the numbers don't add up to prompt such a scare. Let me share what I've been able to find statistically:
1 in 5 women will experience sexual assault and 1 in 71 of men will; in 91% of sexual assault cases the victims are women; 81% of women experienced long term PTSD from their assaults, hence men is 35%; 96% of child molestors are men; and only 2%-10% of accusations are false across the board. So why does this fear seem so confounded and honestly ridiculous to me? What real reason does anyone have to be fighting for something that has no legit bases or really isn't in any way a growing problem in comparison to the numbers?

First off, just so you know, this post will be moved to MSM Distraction forum above.

Secondly, this is a leftist tactic of Divide and Conquer, by claiming women are victims, despite reality, but for them perception is all that matters.
So to be honest, there is no real problem, men and women are different, we deal with issues differently and the normal majority go about the chore of living their lives.
Your best answer? Is ignore the left, don't entertain their idiocy and laugh at them when they regurgitate this bullshit.

As a white male in his twenties living in a very liberal city I do not subscribe to this belief. I've been hearing these talk from the left for months now, and I do not subscribe to it. I have always been under the belief that those saying's are nothing more then scare tactics. It is certainly scary in todays word in the stance that it is possible for it to happen, but I don't engage in bad behavior nor put myself in situations that would lead to something like that. Solar nade a great point. Just ignore it. I go about my life and don't worry about what they have to say.

Some men and women are indeed victims of sexual violence.  What do you think the reality is?

My gun collection has killed at least five fewer people than the Kennedy clan has with airplanes, automobiles and golf clubs.

Men should be cognizant of protecting themselves against false claims by deranged females. There is such a Phenom as "Copy Cat" crimes, and this whole thing with Kavanaugh will surface many such disturbed individuals (it already has) with BS tales of "sexual assault" and "Abuse". I hardly think this amounts to "Fear" but is a good common sense practise.

Second point, this statistical crap sounds like someone is trying to "profile" Men, specifically white Men as sexual predators just because they are Men.  The left spends countless legal hours and enourmous amounts of Capitol trying to dispell and fight "Profiling" NOW  to use the same tactic, I find that typically hypocritical.

That there is not one thing about it that is political. That is reality, but the left wants to use the issue as a wedge to divide people.
Do you deny that reality?

The problem is the left believes in guilt by accusation as we have seen with Kavanaugh and most famously the Duke lacrosse players. Once you are publicly accused your life is never the same regardless if you are found innocent.

You are not supposed to believe the person. You are supposed to believe the facts.

Politics are used to drive a wedge between groups all of the time.  This is nothing new.

I think guilt by association is the wrong term to use for Kavanaugh and the Duke students.  They were accused of a crime by someone, but there wasn't an actual case against Kavanaugh while the Duke players were victims of a false accusation and an over-zealous DA.

Good to see you admit the left is to blame. You're making Progress.

I said accusation, not association.

I did not single out anyone.  Those who are not good at playing politics don't get elected to public office in this country.  That includes liberals and conservatives.
