The bi-partisan select committee has only three actual conservatives, the rest on the right are RINO, the other side is packed with leftist Dims 18 members split on party lines.
I'm curious, anyone have any insight into this?
One thing that stood out to me, was the paragraph I bolded, they failed to mention how the Russians came by all the DNC information. Hillary's server/Awan.

Russian Efforts to Influence the 2016 Election
The ICA states that:
Russian efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election represent the most
recent expression of Moscow's longstanding desire to undermine the U.S.-led
liberal democratic order, but these activities demonstrated a significant escalation
in directness, level of activity, and scope of effort compared to previous
operations1
.
• The Committee found that this judgment was supported by the evidence
presented in the ICA. Since its publication, further details have come to light
that bolster the assessment.
• The ICA pointed to initial evidence of Russian activities against multiple
U.S. state or local electoral boards. Since the ICA was published, the
Committee has learned more about Russian attempts to infiltrate state
election infrastructure, as outlined in the findings and recommendations the
Committee issued in March 2018.
• While the ICA briefly discussed the activities of the Internet Research
Agency, the Committee's investigation has exposed a far more extensive

Russian Cyber Operations
The ICA states that:
Russia's intelligence services conducted cyber operations against targets
associated with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, including targets
associated with both major U.S. political parties. We assess Russian
intelligence services collected against the U.S . primary campaigns, think
tanks, and lobbying groups they viewed as likely to shape future U.S. policies.
In July 2015, Russian intelligence gained access to Democratic National
Committee (DNC) networks and maintained that access until at least June

Thank You! It does raise far more questions than answers, and it had no interests in explaining itself.
I have no idea why they're charged with this issue, it seems far too important to let this bunch release such a final opinion on the matter.
They give no reason for their findings, ignore the obvious and come to conclusions that really make no sense.
What was the vote, where did the Conservatives stand on this and were they outnumbered by the anti Trumpers in the committee?

I hope someone in the media tackles this, like Levin preferably.

Sooo, it was political?
From Wiki::
In 2013, and beyond, the SSCI received renewed attention in the wake of Edward Snowden's disclosures regarding the NSA surveillance of communications. Senator Dianne Feinstein and the SSCI made several statements on the matter, one of which was notably disputed: that the NSA tracked US citizens locations via cellphone. Later, the SSCI Staff Director, David Grannis, claimed that the NSA did not collect cellphone location, claiming the Senator was "speaking extemporaneously".[9] The SSCI later came to prominence in relation to voting to publish in March 2014[10] and then publishing in December 2014 of a report on the policies of the CIA on torture.

Beginning in 2017, the SSCI has been investigating Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, possible incriminating links between members of the Russian government and Donald Trump's presidential campaign, and the security of election processes in the United States.[11]
