Australia: Vigilantes Slash Tires of Chinese Coronavirus 'Refugees' Pouring Into Outback from Cities

Vigilantes in some Australian outback towns have reportedly slashed tyres of those fleeing coronavirus hotspots in the big cities, according to a government minister who urged calm on Friday.

Remote areas in the northeastern state of Queensland are being inundated with travellers — mostly retirees — trying to escape the highly infectious disease, Agriculture Minister David Littleproud said.

"As the borders are being shut, we are seeing a surge of grey nomads from southern states, and also from southeast Queensland, go to southwest Queensland to hide from the coronavirus," Littleproud told Seven News.

"Unfortunately this action could turn caravans into the cruise ships of the outback if someone is infected and spreads it in small communities."

Easter is normally prime season for tourism in Queensland's west, as retired travellers visit the outback and remote areas of the state in droves.

Visitors' vehicles had their tyres slashed in some small towns as panicked residents fear their health systems may struggle to cope with the epidemic, he said.

"I understand the concern of these people in these communities," he added.

What bothers me most about mandated governmental restrictions in today's America is having to distinguish whether it's for protection "of the people" or mission-creep of leftist ideologues.

Its probably all mission creep of some kind or another. But this is not the first time society has had to give in order to protect. Thank God we have Trump and not Hillary.

So far it's only at the State level.

I believe New Jersey/New York are going to shut down the tunnels and bridges to prevent travel and try and control this virus that way.

The real secret here is the DEMOGRAPHICS of who has this virus.  My gut tells me that a lot of illegals ad Legals are the ones who are hardest hit ad of course the leftists are keeping it quiet.

The illegals from 3rd world shitholes have been streaming across our borders for decades, unchecked, unvaccinated and spreading all sorts of bugs and viruses and no one bats an eye.  This COVID BS is the best advertisement for border control and stricter immigration/deportation policy.

I don't blame the Aussies a bit if the Govt wont attend to security as they are obligated its time to take matters into your own hands.
