Once again I will jump in to say that the correct term is "Sealed Court Actions", not sealed indictments, although according to an attorney I spoke to, most of them will lead to indictments, but not all.

The count WAS over 50,000 not too long ago.  The fact that the count is down to 40,000 means at least 10,000 were unsealed and were/are being acted upon by the appropriate parties involved.

On Q research board someone took the time to type out ALL the sealed court actions that were UNSEALED in the month of August.  Since the court actions were UNSEALED, this list contains actual names, locations and crimes involved.  From all over the country.  I was  startled by the quantity and the broad range of alleged crimes committed.

Also, remember that one sealed court action does not necessarily involve just one alleged criminal.  Many do, but others are for many people involved in one court action.  I saw one with 36 individuals named, another with 24 named.

You must have seen someone post a mistake, or an old chart.  There has not been a decrease in their reported numbers.  You are correct that they are sealed 'proceedings', and not 'indictments.

Their claim is provably false. The numbers are mostly accurate, but they are not unusual.  They are using a flawed study from 2009 (which uses data from 2006), that uses a different methodology than they are using, to compare their results to.  This is misleading, and embarrassingly obvious when you search PACER.

They claim 1000 sealed proceedings per year is normal out of all 94 districts COMBINED.  This is ONE district over only FIVE months, in 2015... it returned 1500 sealed proceedings.  This was using their EXACT methodology in PACER.

There is nothing unusual about the numbers.

I have more proof if needed.
