A good article from Erickson when he was nominated on why the Marxists are freaking out about Pruitt...

http://theresurgent.com/the-real-reason-leftwing-groups-are-freaked-out-by-trumps-epa-pick/

QuoteAt the federal level, "community service" is expressly allowed as a condition of probation by the United States Criminal Code (18 U.S.C. §3563(b)(12)). In turn, the United States Sentencing Guidelines allow community service where it is reasonably designed to repair the harm caused by the offense (U.S.S.G. §8B1.3). Additional requirements for appropriate community service measures are outlined in the United States Attorneys' Manual, which expressly allows "organizational community service" in settlements of environmental prosecutions. Many federal environmental prosecutions do indeed include community service payments as part of their ultimate settlement.

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation uses money it gets to fund conservation programs. They have actually done some pretty amazing things. But other organizations are not so great and use the money to further harass private sector corporations, which cannot write off those payments for tax purposes.

When you hear environmental groups complaining about Scott Pruitt, remember that these groups are going to get hit hard financially because the EPA will get out of the business of shaking down corporations to fund leftwing groups.

This one is going to send the Marxists into a cutting phase....

Hopefully he will act at warp speed to undo what the Obama administration did in it misuse of this department to undermine our country's ability to achieve.

This could turn out to be something really, really good for the future of America.  Instead of punishing businesses, the EPA (Enterprise Punishment Association) settles back to simply advising on environmental issues.  Time to DE-FANG every one of these out-of-control, unelected, career hacks.

And I, but reality is, how much can he do when the entire agency is out to make him fail---and they will be. The crazies within EPA will initially use middlemen to leak whatever they think might harm the evil Republican overlords, but that will finally end when those same middlemen turn on whoever used them. This agency and the runaway IRS will be Trump's greatest challenges. I hope they have enough cells for those to be convicted.

I am sure the snowflakes at EPA are suffering high anxiety. Pruitt knows what he is facing and Trump will have his back.

Billy's bayonet

I almost wish I could be in Scott's shoes...I would have SO much FUN torturing the EPA, most of them would quit.
First thing I'd do is HALT ALL ENFORCEMENT EFFORT's, pending "Realigning regulations" and new internal policy. Then I'd get them all to work on a new internal policy manual that would address everything from dress code to bath room breaks. Then an audit by all section heads and field offices of accountable property. That would drive everyone nuts, every paper clip and pencil would have to accounted for.
I'd take away all their cars. You can't be an EPA when you are polluting the air with fossil fuels, so you will use bicycles, mopeds or electric golf carts in the course of your duties. No more cars period, if you need a car, you rent one, only after submitting three bids from local rental agencies on the best Govt price. Then the order has to be approved up the chain of command two weeks in advance.

Then if they do have an inspection, even a routine one, I'd make them get a federal warrant.....

Such bureacratic red tape would keep them out of people's hair for at least six months. so much red tape they cannot effectively get out and harass the public.

Then the Ultimate to strike fear into the hearts of the boobocrats, AIRBITRARY TRANSFERS TO UNDESIRABLE LOCATIONS under the guise of some "resource re allocation" program.

I'd sit up with my feet on my desk and savor the screams coming from all around.

And freeze all funds intended for enforcement, plus eliminating 100% of EPA overtime. Give these slugs fewer reasons to even show up.

...Breaks to MEN and WOMEN restrooms, and woe to he, she or it who gets confused about that.

Rearrange the order and have the department heads reassigned, FIRST WEEK, outside of EPA and a team of ace Inspector-Generals begin a total forensic accounting of all EPA activities. Imagine the fictional research to be uncovered, following their money trail....

Send them to the southern border to make sure illegals do not harm the environment by trashing the land. Any violators to be detained and returned to Mexico.

Hold on, there Billy!   They work for the good of the Environment & the Public good.   Take PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.  That's right, fill up those darn buses, everywhere!   Oh, they need to get out to Wyoming to inspect the HUGE swath of BLM land?   Greyhound.  It's less polluting and cheaper.  Hotel...?  nope, sleep in a tent, feel nature for yourself, forget the AC in the summer, and heat in the winter - stop contributing to killing the planet, start living by your own stupid ideas.

And if we catch any one of them burning so much as a match, campfire - there'll be hell to pay for destroying government property.
