QuoteSaudi Arabia says it won't rule out building nuclear weapons
Saudi Arabia will not rule out building or acquiring nuclear weapons, the country's ambassador to the United States has indicated.

Asked whether Saudi Arabia would ever build nuclear weapons in an interview with US news channel CNN, Adel Al-Jubeir said the subject was "not something we would discuss publicly".

Pressed later on the issue he said: "This is not something that I can comment on, nor would I comment on."

The ambassador's reticence to rule out a military nuclear programme may reignite concerns that the autocratic monarchy has its eye on a nuclear arsenal.

Western intelligence agencies believe that the Saudi monarchy paid for up to 60% of Pakistan's nuclear programme in return for the ability to buy warheads for itself at short notice, the Guardian newspaper reported in 2010.

The closer Iran comes to a deal with Obama the more the talk comes from the Saudi's about getting their own! A new nuclear Arms race in the most dangerous area of the world! Thanks Obama!!

Thank you Obama for starting the Nuclear arms race all over again. Only in the M.E. this time. BTW, this "announcement" has much more with the international community allowing Iran to violate the NPT than it does anything else.
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

-Can't blame 'em.  They were the Country that kept popping-into our Yslamic Bomb ( 'Y', to symbolize mushroom) discussions in the early 70's.  Yes, you born-laters...  The 'islamic bomb' was discussed on college-campuses back then.  I even wrote a song about it.

It was believed that Saudi Arabia and Syria would league together, under a Soviet aegis.

Hopefully they will only nuke each other, but knowing muslims they will nuke everyone else as well... Ballistic missile defence still a joke to the leftist? Will be interesting to see them screaming for the defense system blaming everyone else but themselves when it was they who made sure we are defenseless.

Heard that interview this morning.  The Saudis aren't wanting this deal to go thru between Iran and the US as it is stated.  Yep, Obola strikes again!  Make 'em all pissed off Obola!

Turkey sure has been quiet.  Where do they fall in all of this?
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

They don't have to build them, the Saudis are already allied with nuclear Pakistan.

Anyone catch Assad's (Syria) interview on 60 minutes?  It was interesting interview.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/syria-president-bashar-al-assad-60-minutes-charlie-rose/

He mentioned Russia's support of Iran and Syria.  Assad also tried to tie Saudi Arabia to ISIS.  He says they believe in the same Ideology, meaning they are Sunni.

Now I'm reading where Saudi Arabia has also mentioned Russia, and says that Putin is influencing the problems in the region.

I can't tolerate Charlie Rose.  The fact that Assad would agree to a sitdown with a bonafide milquetoast was too much of an annoyance-factor for me to watch.

The soft bigotry of 60-Minutes not interviewing anyone from Nigeria's election-commission during the current vote-count tells you all ya need to know about where their self-congratulatory interest are.  The impending defeat of Goodluck Jonathan is a far far bigger story.

I was just watching Rubio on "The Five".

They were discussing the Iran Nuclear negotiations.  He said that these negotiations are not just about Iran.  We are also negotiating a deal for Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan.  Whatever Iran gets in this deal, the other countries will get it too.  The whole ME would be Nuclear.

If we think terrorists flying planes into buildings is bad, I can't imagine what it's going to be like with the crazies in the ME with bombs.

We'll find out, looks like.  Like with the Germanwings airbus-crash where a pilot was locked-out in a critical breach of protocol, countries will need physical-bodies manning launch-code systems.  That's just the countermeasure part of babysitting a tactical nuke.  Some of these countries are introducing islamic ideology and/or sunni vs. shia components into the launch-center.  Mutually assured destruction has no meaning to them.

And I doubt obama and kerry are even thinking about chemical-weapons at this point.  Just the rumor of a biochem attack could provoke a nuke response among the jihaddies.

Iran and North Korea have had many dealings in the past. Bush even referred to them as 2 of the 3 axis of evil countries. If Iran became a nuclear power and signed a pack with North Korea, Would the Korean crazy dictator be more willing to start something in Korea?

Iran recently talked about exploding a nuclear bomb above our country...an EMP attack, that would knock out our electrical grids.  I can't even imagine what a disaster that would be like across the country.

The Christians know they are in for some hard times of persecution ahead, and if the Christians ever get the upper hand like in CAR watch the EU or UN come in and stop the fighting and disarm the Christians leaving the muslims free to regroup. But what do we do when it's the Muslims slaughtering Christians? We let them. Sometimes I wish CBN would start providing arms as well as food and supplies to the Christians in Africa.
