Remember the TV series about life in Alaska called "Northern Exposure"?  Sarah Palin is evidently going to bypass the Main Street Media's filter and expose her real self and real life to Middle America.  This new tv show is being billed as an apolitical view of Sarah, her family and the Great State of Alaska!

I'm a thinking this show is going to be a winner!   :D

My fear is that this will backfire on her.   There are parts of everyone's life that should remain private.  A reality show does not do that.  Instead it opens cracks for those who want to damage you.   

Those who are on the fence may find it too much.   :-\ :-\

Love her or Hate her, you have to admit that she is an interesting celebrity and her impact upon the political scene, has been huge!      If this were 2006 and their was going to be an eight episode expose into the life of Barak Hussain Obama, you better believe that I'd watch it!  Even if the spin is naturally slanted to benefit Palin's PR image, you can count on the Main  Street Media and shows like "The View" and "The Daily Show", as well as the late night comedians, like Letterman, will be spinning everything the other way!

Even if one considers her a political enemy, a wise person follows the teachings of Sun Wu Tzu and wants to "Know your Enemy"!   Just Sayun!   ;)

I've seen enough of Sarah Palin to realize that she won't let the Bastards get her Down!  With this "view" of her, she'll present an image that we'd never see on such things as "The View", where it would seem that today's tv culture community BELEIVES it's necessary for anyone wanting to meet and greet the American peole, must appear (for some strange, mysterious reason).

When Sarah Palin apppeared on Saturday Night Live, after being mocked and demeaned by them, she prooved herself to be above the pettiness, so many on the left exhibit every time her name is even mentioned!

I have no doubt she has a ton of attorneys making that contract super protective...

Folks that love to demean and dismiss Sarah Palin seem to overlook her accomplishments, including her degree in journalism.  Those who decry her as being a mental midget and not having the gravitas for high political office (while discounting the gaffs and apparent ignorance of so many of those they do support) are cut from the same cloth as those who said the same things about Ronald Reagan, both as a candidate and later through his two terms as POTUS!

With Sarah Palin, I think there is the added dimension that she is not the sort of man that many want to be President!

I don't believe that Palin is a "mental midget", and her "accomplishments" are admirable to a point.  I just don't believe that she is POTUS material.  She's a quitter, and a political and financial opportunist.  I'm tired of those "traits" as being portrayed as a prerequisite to being the POTUS.

I don't beleive that she wants to run for POTUS anymore.  I think she did toy with the idea at one time, but I think she's enjoying her life and is being very fullfilled in a supportive role for others who might not be such a lightning rod for opposition (from the lefties and the Republican establishment).

The left wing media prostitutes ALWAYS go after the families of non-left wingers.  The fact they have gone after Palin's family is no surprise. 

Families are "off-limits" to the left wing news media only if the families are left-wingers.  Otherwise, it's open season.

AF- I keep trying to figure out what it is about Palin that bothers you so much.  These negative "traits" that you have bestowed on her are in your eyes - they are not how the rest of the entire world sees her.  I see strength, compassion, the ability to make a decision for the sake of others instead of herself.  You have twisted her to be what you want to her to be.

That being said my gut says you don't want her as POTUS not for these things but probably because she is a woman.
