Agents were examining allegations of computer activity tied to Russia..  Very quickly, they concluded the computer activity in question involved no nefarious contacts, bank transactions or encrypted communications with the Russians, and likely involved routine computer signals.

The officials also strongly disputed that the FBI's intercepts of conversations in December between soon-to-to-be U.S. National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were part of a continuing Trump-focused national security investigation. In fact, they were part of a long-established special intelligence program in which the FBI is routinely permitted to review intercepts of Russian embassy officials.

Americans are often incidentally intercepted, and the FBI has authority to review those conversations without a specific warrant when they involve national security matters. Flynn fell into that category in part because he had a security clearance, the sources said.

According to the report, a number of sources claimed the FBI wanted to investigate Russia's influence peddling in the 2016 election as a result of past investigations into the nation's spying in the U.S.

"But the message the American official gave was mostly that a new sheriff was about to take over the White House and Russians shouldn't react to the new sanctions in a way that would foreclose better dialog in the future under a Trump administration, sources said," Circa reported.

Who leaked Flynn's name to the media? The leaks began in January after President Barack Obama changed a long time executive order that enabled information intercepted from FISA warrants or by the National Security Agency to be pooled out to 16 other federal agencies

Such sensitive information is normally given to eight top leaders in Congress, who are regularly briefed by the intelligence community about classified matters. But after president Obama changed the executive order before he left office, a massive number of staff throughout the government had access to the information.

The probable cause to get those warrants to monitor the computers must have "evaporated"    IE it didn;t exist in the first place and it was a fishing expedition....highly illegal.

I firmly believe these two guys know the answers to all the question that are being asked on both sides of the aisle.

Suspect In House IT Security Probe Also Had Access To DNC Emails

Imran Awan — the lead suspect in a criminal probe into breaches of House of Representatives information security systems — possessed the password to an iPad used by then-Democratic National Committee Chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz when DNC emails were given to WikiLeaks, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

Wasserman Schultz resigned the DNC post in the wake of WikiLeaks posting damaging internal emails, blaming the scandal on hacking by Russians.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

I'm sure it'll be all over the LSM tonight....

This story broke last week and to date, the only ones reporting the devastation is the right.
Every day more gets added to the story, more evidence comes to light as seen here, yet not once has the left covered it.
At what point are they going to address the DNC connection and admit there was no Russian connection?

The progressive media is still repeating "Hands up - Don't Shoot!"  Our great great grandkids will be celebrating their centenarian birthdays before progs will admit any of their major propaganda pieces are less than truthful.

I hope Trump is feeling vengeful.

Creatively vengeful. Highlighting how it was Debbie Whatsherface Schultz who had to resign, and why. You want back doors into computer systems? She allowed it.

Progressive humanism itself is sociopathic. Its entire premise is based on pure egocentrism.

I'm I misreading this or does this article admit that members of Trumps transition team and the campaign were subject to Wire taps by the FBI? Isn't this also in response to Obama's directive to get to the bottom of the Russian influence on the election? So directly or indirectly Obama did order the surveillance of the opposition party and made sure the information was distributed throughout his administration to guarantee the Info would be leaked!

QuoteRussian ambassador Sergey Kislyak was just doing his job "talking about bilateral relations" with Trump campaign officials – and did the same thing with Hillary Clinton associates, Vladimir Putin's spokesman said Sunday.
In an interview with CNN host Fareed Zakaria on "GPS," Dmitry Peskov said the meetings weren't an attempt to interfere in the 2016 election.

"If you look at some people connected with Hillary Clinton during her campaign, you would probably see that he had lots of meetings of that kind," Peskov said, describing the Clinton associates as "people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary."

"But there were no meetings about elections — electoral process ... So if you look at it with intention to demonize Russia, you would probably say that, yes, he was trying to interfere in Hillary's activities. But it would be nonsense, because this is not true," he added.

I think the probe should be expanded to Include the Hillary people also! What did they say to that Russian? Were and deals offered? Hillary's prior deals with the Russians should also be brought into evidence! No evidence of prior deals have been found involving Trump but there are plenty involving Clinton! Maybe It was payback for old broken promises Clinton had made! We must investigate this connection!!!

Q PATRIOT!!!

The Dims are hunting heads on Russia / Election connection.

QuoteAccording to documents obtained by The Associated Press, in 2005 Manafort was paid $10 million by Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska to -- as Manafort described it -- "greatly benefit the Putin government" by lobbying and influencing news coverage in the United States, Europe and the former Soviet Republics."

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/paul-manafort-trump-administration-ties-to-russian-associates/

This was known since 2005. It's not new information - not news. But since Manafort was Trump's campaign manager, they will use this to make as much noise as they can. What Manafort did was apparently legal. I think it shows bad ethics to help the Ruskies influence news coverage, but it wasn't illegal. And no one on the Trump team knew of any claims then as being made by the Dims now. So there was no reason to disqualify Manafort at the time he aided the campaign. I think they are shooting a blank aainst this accusation of the fringes of Trump's associates. But they'll do anything to try and persuade just a few more against Trump - anything and everything.

POTUS admin is playing too much defense. Trump is the best at going on offense - I hope he can get more energy against the Dim-whits and MSM on a continual basis.
