We have bomb shelters literally everywhere, so if you feel like dropping something on us, we'll still be ok.
We're ok with living without electricity for years so if you decide to set off an EMP, we'll be ok.
We like Americans, we can be good friends :)

That's funny in a sad sort of way. Americans figured out long ago that Russia would never attack with nuclear arms so we quit building bomb shelters in the late 60s.
It wasn't until the 90s that we learned our biggest threat was from within and our own party was working with the enemy.
Nah, we quit fearing Russia when the wall came down, now we all hope to get along, Russians have far more in common with Americans than 90% of the world.
Why we let our failed leaders continue the animosity is beyond me. I guess they both need an enemy to focus on while they rob us blind.

I think we are, it's just sometimes the politicians make it seem like we're not.  If Russia ever needs a re-population boost, just PM me and I'll be on the plane in under an hour.

One thing Americans don't know is how you can bribe police officers when you're pulled over.  And how you can just pay to get a college degree.  Stuff like that.

I think both of our country are suffering from different forms of corruption, I do not have enough info to compare.
Thank you, we actually do need a fresh population boost but it also looks like US is experiencing low birth rates, you have some hard work to accomplish at home first hehe

Yes This came out in the late 1960's it is a film about a Russian Sub that runs aground off the Maine Coast and the residents think they are being invaded. The sailors just want to get help getting their sub off the reef and go home. In the end everyone makes friends and the fishing fleet escorts the sub while US Air Force planes buzz them but don't shot for fear of hitting the fishermen.

Lots of funny scenes, this is my favorite.
