Somebody get this guy over to the USA and debate Obama!

surfer_squirrel

The majority of our congress are spineless weasels. One time when Obama was addressing them, he made a statement that his healthcare plan wouldn't include benefits for illegal aliens. One member of congress yelled out "LIAR!". Did congress join in and echo the call? NO! Instead, they demanded that the "misguided" congressman apologize to Obama. How do you think they would treat this speaker?

Hmmm from the video, I think he would tell them all to 'F' off.

I believe the proper phrase used by the Brits is "Piss off!"

In my mind, the true miracle of the 2010 election is that it showed us all that there still are principled people in this country, at every level, who are willing to stand up and say, "Wait a damn minute, this doesn't work. We have to change it." The fellow in the video, who stood up and pointed fingers and named names and laid out the facts, is a good example of the sort of thing I'm talking about.

The steam pressure is building, and we're gaining powerful and important voices every day. Sarah Palin has star power and a (fairly) bully pulpit and (very) nice legs, but folks like Michelle Bachmann and Rand Paul and Chris Christie have balls. Here in Ohio, we've got a new governor coming in January who has already done more in the way of energizing the citizens of this state than his stuffed-shirt predecessors have done in the last thirty long, slow years.

There's a growing class of rebels. There's an expanding group of truly progressive (forget the bogus connotation, the word has meaning) thinkers that deserve our support. I've actually applied for a job working for the new state administration, something I never thought I'd do. But this new guy deserves my support, and he'll get it, without reservation, as long as he stays true to his words.

tbone, I sincerely hope you're right. I hope your judgment of the incoming administration is warranted.

I wonder if John Kasich is the first FORMER Fox News Channel commentator to hold such a high political office.  I know Kasich was a U.S. Congressman BEFORE he signed on with Fox.

There is now HOPE for my home state.  GO BUCKEYES!

I would vote for Kasich as President. He's forthright, admits his limitations, and has a solid grasp on how America really works. But in today's topsy-turvy world, it would be Palin/Kasich, which is almost as good --- if only Palin listens to her VP instead of trying to hide him like they do with the idiot in the attic, Joe Biden.

I've watched and listened to Kasich on TV and radio. He is definitely a conservative  who has good ideas.
