There are just over 5.1 million millionaires in the U.S.
And how many billionaires?

This gives me hope I might have chances of becoming one and finally getting a Bugatti. My Uncle who lives in Florida for work right now (but has a house in kentucky) he has invested quite intelligently and he has over a million saved up in the bank. Unfortunately I wont be seeing any of that money when he passes :(
But if that numbers true, its not hard to become a millionaire.

I was going to say Solar, maybe you oughta look in your phone book and look for a last name "Romney" and the first "Williard" in your neighborhood.

Wow Solar, so youre a millionaire yourself?
Let's just say I live a very comfortable life without bills.
I don't know, maybe if I liquidated everything I own, but it's all from years of careful planning, from building my home and having no help, just me, keeping costs to a minimum, going totally solar, so no electric bill, though I do buy 500 gallons of propane every couple of years.
I prefer the simpler life in the wilderness.

Anyone can do it, it's called sacrifice, and I really mean sacrifice. If you'd met me on the street, you'd probably have put a dollar in my hand and said "you poor man".

LOL I have 5 millionaires next door and would not know it by looking at them.
Then last I check there are 425 billionaires in the U.S.   (World Total 1226)

I believe Bill Gates at one point was one of those people who saved up pennies. I plan on becoming a musician so that should help somewhat break me into the millionaire banquet. Except I wouldnt be one of those millionaires who you see dressed up in suits, just in attire from American Eagle driving Mercedes Benz SLKs and Lamborgini Gallerdos. But while its fun imagining this it is frustrating with thought if still living with your parents in a  tight condo when you could be in a big mansion, playing Wii on a 60 inch LCD tv.

I would like my place to be gated though.

LOL I have about 600 pounds in change right now.  About time I take it into the bank.  I just don't like change in my pocket so I dump it out when I get home.

Most around me drive a Dodge ram 2500 or 3500.  The smallest place you can get is 10 acres unless you are family.  Why would you live in town, when you could have an apartment or condo in town for when you need to be in town.  Think out of the box young man.

When I have that much money I'd like to live in a private estate. Where people dont just walk up into your property or try taking possessions away. Anyway I'd like to have a long road up to my estate. Not all the rich take advantage of the poor, why do you think we have millionaires who are registered republicans?

You are young yet. lol   A "private estate" and money doesn't buy you happiness, but it does help.

My driveway is 1.5 miles long and I can see you coming form 5miles away.  Good luck with taking my possessions, I came into the world with nothing and will leave with nothing.

We have millionaires republicans because they worked their ass off.

Like I said your young yet.  If your going to get all the things you would like as you said.  YOU Will your ass off to get it and keep it.   You may even become a 100 % full blown Conservative.  lol

Your driveway is 1.5 miles long? If that was my driveway I would have put up a traffic light, a camera and an alarm so whenever anyone enters the property I would be alerted and could watch them on a monitor from my kitchen to see if they actually stop for the light.
I have actually thought this through in the past. It's a goal of mine.

Yes my drive way is 1.5 miles long.
This far out they don't even stop for stop signs.  A traffic light would be a waste of money.  LOL   I see the county sheriff about once every 3 months and the State Patrol when they get losted.

LOL  I don't drink now, have not for 20 + years.   The wife can not so I don't.

BUT I have a refrigerator stocked with beer and wine for the kids when they come home.  (and neighbors when they come over)
