Replacing Justice Kennedy

I realize we have a thread going about Kennedy's retirement. However, I am suggesting we thumb nail this thread as the replacement will be an ongoing story for several months. My suggestion is we use this thread to concentrate on possible replacements. Below is a story about two young jurists on the Georgia Supreme Court that seem to fit what we are looking for and they are Trump's short list:

Let's enjoy this process.

Keith and Britt are both great choices, though all I know of Britt is what I can dig up, while Keith I've heard good things about and the fact that he's young, means we'll hold that seat for at the least, 30 years.
There are sooo many great judges to choose from, but trump needs to keep in mind, he doesn't need to pick a lawyer, the Constitution was written so even the common man could understand it.

It was assholes like Kennedy and Bryer that interpreted it based on obscure cases for precedent, or the likes of Roberts, who twisted reality to gives us gay marriage, while a nonlawyer would take a case at face value and rule according to, and based on our Founding values.

Just an aside on Britt Grant. Trump has nominated her for the 11th Circuit, but she is being held up by Flake because he disagrees Trump's tariffs. Both senators from GA are livid with him.

Imagine a future without Flake, Alexander, Corker, McCain, Ryan, and a bunch of filthy dems.  Sounds nice.  And very close !

A huge win by Trump all on its own.

All Flake is doing is trying to hold up a process out of anger and the Judiciary takes that into consideration, which means it's a shallow protest at best and carries no weight in the end.
But if Trump decides on either of them, there is no one that can stand in the way, outside of public opinion, something the left is frantically trying to create.
But we know Trump and leftist opinion and his love for a fight. The leftist media hasn't a farts chance in space.

I saw an excerpt from an interview Maria Bartiromo had with Trump to air on her show Sunday morning. It struck me that Trump is purposely playing the democrats like a fiddle with the SC nominee. He reiterated he would appoint a conservative judge like Neil Gorsuch, but smartly would not address Roe vs Wade. This is they type thing that drives the left up the wall. They are already unglued just over the fact he has another nominee.

Think if we went back 6 years ago and told ourselves back then that this would be our problem today...

A woman nominee would further push democrats into a corner. Would they dare attack a woman like they did Thomas and Alito?

there are 9 reasons he needs to appoint a known conservative! I want the first pick to pass through committee but fail on the floor. 9 senate seats in red states! If these senators fail to support his nominee it will kill them in November. If his first pick fails we have the chance to really gain control of the senate and still get the conservative we want on the second nominee! He needs to play them on the first round and we have a win, win!!

Probably, but who would lead the charge? Pelosi? Maxine, Hillary? Mooshell?  Possibly Warren? I can't see a liberal man leading the charge because well, there aren't any with a set.

After listening to MSM for the last couple of days I now have a favorite. The leftist media is coming unglued over Amy Barrett. Their reasoning is she is "too" Catholic and has seven kids. What logical disqualifiers. Go girl!
