Title: Ranking the democratic Presidential nominees
Post by: Jasmine on February 14, 2020, 03:28:03 PM
From least damaging to America to most damaging, how would you rank the contenders still in the race for the democratic nomination?

I'm not talking about the candidate as a threat to beating Trump. I'm talking about them as a threat to America if they actually win in November.

I kinda think that Bernie Sanders would be the worst possible President for our country.

Of the others, I think Tulsi Gabbard would be the least damaging.

My ranking would go something like this, although it's just my uneducated viewpoint:

1. Gabbard
2. Biden
3. Klobachar
4. Gay Boy
5. Bloomberg
6. Pocahontas
7. Sanders

Yeah, Gabbard, but thank God we'll never have to find out.

I sure hope you're right. It just worries me that the dems will stoop to anything to get Trump out of office. And Trump himself doesn't help matters when he talks. Sometimes his mouth gets him in unnecessary trouble.

I think Gabbard sincerely wants to serve her country. She served in Iraq. She seems to be one of the more moderate dems. And she and Hillary hate each other. That's a good thing.

I haven't seen evidence of that yet.  Marxists have to prove that to me.

She served in Iraq.
True.

She's probably the most radical.  The only issue she's the least radical is baby murder... she'd kill a baby until the third trimester while the others will kill it after birth.

And she and Hillary hate each other. That's a good thing.
They are both supporters of the Iran deal, which makes them sisters in arms.

Correct. She's no moderate.  Anyone that has Google can easily research it. Not going to waste time posting it. If she's so out of sync with her party and some wanna be renegade then why remain in a party that you are in opposition to. She's not. Let her switch. She never will do it. Stop pretending she is. She's another lib from Blue Hawaii. And that's not just an Elvis movie either.

Her "green deal" makes AOC's look sane.  She's devoutly pro-Iranian mullahs, a baby killer (perfect rating from Planned Parenthood), a proponent of UBI, and on and on.

The ill informed were easily fooled by her stunt when she attacked Kamala. It was merely a tactic to help her campaign. It worked in the short term. Where is she now?  All but finished. And she will be soon enough. Clean up Hawaii and get back to me.

With absolute certainty she's getting a Fox contract.  She's done a few hits on there, and she'd be a more popular choice than Juan Williams.

Klobuchar would be the least damaging? Think again. Sure there are few things in the article that sound good on paper and help her to appear more moderate than her competitors if that's the benchmark. Here's a concise consolidation of her views. A few stand out. Eliminate the Electoral College? That one speaks for itself in terms of damage. Take a read and decide for yourself.

I know I keep posting articles from CH, but you keep reminding me of stuff.  What's funny is this article gets the most action on the site:

I could never understand why these media organizations seem to not have a care in the world about ratings and making money, so I through that theory out...

Very enlightening and I think you nailed it.

Quote"I think these (some) media companies are using the guise of journalism to facilitate and sell national security information.  Maybe they transport information, and maybe they play matchmakers between our spooks and the foreign actors with money."

"Previously, I had the perspective that foreign money buys the media so their puppets parrot what they're told, and ditto from the spook side, where spooks do the sqwaking or tell the media personalities what to say and write like good little mockingbirds.  I assumed the media's primary role was prostitute who knew they were behaving seditiously, or covertly, but needed the cash.

All that happens, but I think it's more of their cover than primary role.  Now I think such a media company is simply a brand or logo acting as an umbrella for spooks and foreigners to get together under the cover of "journalism", i.e.:"

Klobuchar might be the most dangerous because of that voice. Why do most democrat women have voices that force birds to fly into the jaws of alligators?

I always look at his gaffes as "At least we know what he thinks about this".  Most others speak political speech that means nothing of any substance.

There aren't any. Trump says what he means and means what he says. What others see as gaffes are said with a specific intent in mind.  Let's not forget that he's also the master "troller" of Democrats. Another great quality. He gets them every time.

Gabbard would be the least harmful. I support her view on American regime change wars and she is he only candidate that doesnt want abortion up till birth (she might be pro life but cant say IT because its political suicide if youre a democrat?). Other than that they Are all pretty bad. Everyone wants abortion till birth, insane gunlaws (like closing the "hate loophole" which I didnt Even know what was till I watched it on Steven Crowder lately), red flag laws etc.
nd they all want to pay for healthcare for illegals, ban ice and what not.Berniee might have the most insane economic policies, he would run the econocmy into the ground. He used to be less crazy about immigrants but he too seems to have gotten on the open borders train.

I don't think any can beat him for way too many reasons than I want to go into right now. But if my back were to the wall and I had to name one, I'd agree with you. Bloomberg. His money for starters. Don't forget as well he was a Republican prior to switching parties, so if he starts sounding more like one again; he could get some of the never Trump crowd. Keep in mind as well that much of that crowd are born again Trumpers so I'm not quite sure how many are left. Most voters have made up their minds already who they will vote for.
