Charlie Rangel is just another Democrat scumbag. Of course he'll get off essentially with a rap on the knuckles. After 40 years in the House, he knows the ropes as well as anyone. Add to that his senior membership in the Congressional Black Caucus -- you know, the counter group to the Congressional White Caucus -- and he's golden.

Of course he cruised to re-election two weeks ago, thanks to the, ah, unique configuration of his Harlem district. Where Charlie comes from, Mike Tyson could get elected Caretaker of the Battered Women's Center and Marion Barry could become Chief Administrator of the Drug Intervention Council. Michael Vick could actually get elected dogcatcher...
