To the person who said I should read Paul's words and not rely on a poster here.. well, that's true, but I don't have unlimited time on the internet (don't have I-net @ home), so

I wish people would quote people accurately. That is a HUGE problem these days... Some people just don't have much of a moral compunction vis a vis lying

I not a fan of the libertarians, too "Mr Rodgers" La la when it comes to national security and dealing with the Middle east demons and people like Putin,  BUT I'd vote for Rand in a heartbeat against anybody the RINO's put up and of course the Marxist party.

Rand is young, fresh, smart and will appeal to younger voters, a bit more moderate than his Father when it comes to the absolute libertarian creed. Nothing wrong wioth courting "the black vote" outreach to 'em all we can & wean them off marxist agenda, Rand could do it.

It would also help if YOU would learn to use the quote function on this board also.   We don't have time to be jumping around to see who said what.

No.
Depending upon the crime, since many U.S. states with "life sentences" equate that to about twelve years of incarceration (or less, depending upon several factors including prison overcrowding, time off for good behavior, etc.).

Would I want the guy who killed my family member to get a vote upon his release? Never. But how long a "voting purgatory" is too long in a society so permissive it lets its killers live at all?

I was afraid of that...  It's almost like Invasion Of The Body-Snatchers
