How far left and corrupt is the GOPe when it's biggest supporter/spokesman bails on the Establishment?
Folks, I see the party collapsing, and by God, that's a great thing, makes it Right for the Conservative movement to seize the GOPe from these traitors.

Will, who writes for the Washington Post, acknowledged it is a "little too late" for the Republican Party to find a replacement for Trump but had a message for Republican voters.

"Make sure he loses. Grit their teeth for four years and win the White House," Will said during an interview after his speech at a Federalist Society luncheon.

Will said he changed his voter registration this month from Republican to "unaffiliated" in the state of Maryland.

"This is not my party," Will said during his speech at the event.

He mentioned House Speaker Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) endorsement of Trump as one of the factors that led him to leave the party.

Still early in this cycle. Phil Robertson needs to change over, among many others.

QuoteA major national pollster, which was typically very favorable to Donald Trump during the GOP primary season, the same pollster that on May 11 had Hillary Clinton with only a one-point lead (41-40 percent), now shows the bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor crashing to his lowest level yet.

The new Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday shows scandal-plagued Hillary Clinton defeating Donald Trump by a whopping 14-point margin, 47 percent to just 33 percent, while 20 percent said that they wouldn't support either of the highly unpopular candidates, two candidates who have the highest unfavorability ratings in the history of polling.

Trump's free-fall, along with his unstable mental status and fluctuating policies, has united both establishment Republicans as well as some principled Tea Party constitutionalists. Both feel that the liberal New York real estate tycoon will irreparably harm to both the Republican Party and the nation.

OK, we'll admit, Donald got a lot of attention, some good (against the GOPe, or said he was), some bad (restrict the 1st amendment & 2nd), some WTF (endorsements by Jerry Oh-how-he's-Fallen Jr, Alex Jones & Michael Savage).  Now it's gut check time, Trump-a-loons.

Trump is still wooing Sanders supporters - not conservatives, he's not even trying to hide he's not a conservative, nor belongs in the Republican Party.  What little GOP support Donald -HAD- is evaporating like the morning fog, and the few talking points you thought were GREAT, are just suggestions (to get your vote, nothing more.. art-of-the-deal-stuff).

GOPe was warming, now, in an historical, never-been-done-before, they are bailing enmasse on Trump - leaving cult-like followers as his only hope.   Even the Delegates are actively trying to figure out how to oust Donald gracefully - but expecting the pitch-fork wielding mob, regardless of the outcome in Cleveland.

Now for the complete destruction of the whole political nomination process, Hillary, the "Corruption Allegation Queen" is destroying the "No nonsense No-message Trump" in the polls.  Rather than listen to Ingram, Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Jones in desperate tone try to prop up this rogue candidate - please tell me why I should cast a vote for Donald, without mentioning the SCOTUS or HILLARY.   No more made-up stores about Clarence Thomas, or losing the Senate & House - I want to hear the "good stuff" that makes you feel GLAD Donald is the nominee.

I've heard the paid-for radio commentators go to great lengths defending & trying to prop Donald up - NO SALE.
I want the good stuff, the vision for America's future, the return to the rule-of-law, love of Constitution stuff (meh, I guess that'd be a flip-flop), none of the Tyranny, dictator stuff - just the good stuff.

George Will is part of what I call the "conservative debating society."
They don't actually want to govern or effect change.
They just want to  critique what everyone else is doing and debate conservativetheir ideas into  infinity.

George Will is total establishment.  He's not a voice for  change – or at least the kind of change anyone would want.

fixed it.
I think you just hit the nail on the head - I can't remember these talking heads ever presenting a "plan" for positive growth, positive anything.   They just sit there, and throw rocks, then shake hands and congratulate each other for being so smart.   Notice how the Constitution is seldom cast in a positive light as a static document - no, it's living, breathing and subject to radical change (via the courts).

I'd think, with Trump about to be nominated, they'd be feeding him ideas, policy, issues, etc.  Probably doesn't want him to tear down their ideas, eh?
