Last year, Obama's Team propsed $100 Billion in spending cuts...Sounds like a whole lot of money!
But..as Sen. Everette Dirkson once said "A Billion here and a Billion there and after awhile you're talking about real Money".  A Hundred Billion Dollars used to be a lot of money!

But now...

Damn good point, his every trip costs about this much.
And just how many vacations has he taken? Yet he claims 100 million will make a difference.
Boy are his followers gullible...

I found it interesting that there is so much on the other side of the blue line that repressents discretionary spending which could be cut, without touching the big three entitlements (social security, mediaid and medicare).  If this illustration is accurate, cutting all discretionary spending by a whole lot, along with shrinking the size (and thereby the cost) of our Federal Government can rapidly begin to repay our national debt!

It's not like our Federal Government isn't without resources;  I mean look at the Trillions it takes from us each and every year, in taxes (at the current rates).  Obama's $3.6 Trillion Budget is reportedly $1.6 Trillion short.  That means that the "income" of our Federal Government must be about $2 Trillion per year (at this point).  Cut Obama's Budget in half and that leaves all non discretionary spending and a good slice of discretionary spending intact and even with a Balanced Budget it would leave several hundred Billion per year to go towards debt repayment....
