First of all, the most prominent ANTI-KAVANAUGH Dems are all GONE ! And the single PRO-KAVANAUGH Dem remains.

Second, we have a solid majority of Senators now, and traitors Flake and McCain will not be missed !

Third, Dem "Superstars" Beto and Gillum are dead.

Fourth, yes, the House is Dem. Since when was it on Trump's side anyways ? No loss.

All in all, I completely agree. Congress hands are tied without a Senate telling them how to act.
Though I am surprised, I'm not shocked, we had so many leftist RINO retiring we we're bound to have a few of their seats stay in leftist hands, they didn't get elected because they Pubs, they were elected because they  were Dims alll along.
I still have looked at the results yet, but I had thought the Senate would pick up seats. Let the recounts begin and the purging of illegal votes set things Right.

Mixed emotions, never a good thing when the Dems control anything, and listening to and looking at that Ass hole Pelosi will make me sick. I suppose holding onto and gaining in the Senate is a good thing but that creep Kaine is still the Senator for Virginia.  I think it proves how much cheating went on in Northern Virginia and of course the Kremlin aka Richmond area.

I agree with all of the above.

Chuckie is now totally irrelevant. Remaining dem senators saw what happened to those who went with Schumer and not with their electorate. He will have a lot of deaf ears when he tries threaten them going forward.

Now watch all the judges being confirmed and Collins and Murkowski can no longer hold the GOP senate hostage.

Sorry about VA Billy. It has been successfully overrun by liberals.

The  loss  of the  house  is  huge. There will be  no further legislation to help the economy.

Are you on drugs ? It's a historical imperative, and was much less of a loss than Obama / Clinton had.  Plus, dems will make it into a hilarious fiasco

Everything else last night was a massive Trump win.

Obama gave the dems losses everywhere he moped around.

And I'm loving life in Tennessee.  Yeehaw !  Karl Marx Dean and Phil Breadbox were embarrassed.

Keep in mind, Obozo lost nearly three times as many seats under his "Leading from the Rear"

Midterm Election, Most House Seats Lost by President's Party in Power. Trump matches Reagan, who still managed the 80s/90s/2000s boom boom.

Starting with the thrashing of Boehner and his hand-picked boy McCarthy, the destruction of the RINOs has been more enjoyable than the destruction of the left / dems.

Blowing up traitors has always been a little sweeter than just simple enemies.

I'll always remember the sheer arrogance and dismissiveness of Boehner.  Then one day he was gone.  Like he was never there.

Actually Boehner was never there even when he was there.
The result will be chronic stalemate, most likely a good thing.
Yet it also ends any part of the Trump agenda needing legislation.
For the D's, it will be 2 years of guerilla war setting up 2020.
The radical left has been waiting for this opportunity and the
R left will simply sit there passivity.Watch!!!

I agree that the radical left will be pulling every dirty trick out of the hat that they can.  However,  I think that Trump has shown that you can fight back and win,  and the media has shown that there is no appeasing them so you have nothing to lose by fighting back.  Before the election I do not think they actually got it and I cannot be sure they figured it out after last night but I think that it should be clear that they need to push hard on Trump's agenda and ignore the media and the right's screaming about it being one of the ism's or for the rich or against the middle class.

I saw Nancy P speaking last night and so much was BS.  In every speech Trump said that preexisting conditions would be taken care of which she spoke as if that was never said.  Every lie needs to be countered by action to prove what lying radicals the Dem party has become.  They should have put it up to vote on the wall and the dreamers and let the Dem's vote against it.  Prove them to be the power hungry politicians that do not really care about the issues only keeping their power.  The middle class is making more money and has more job opportunities than before.  How long can the Dems say that the Trump agenda is against the middle class without sounding like absolute lying con artists.   Work on all the issues that they raise but have no plan on fixing so that they can decry how bad things are.  They support actions that insure poverty, lack of opportunity and a stagnant economy and then rant about how those things are so bad because of the Republicans.   Time for the  party to go on the offensive and work hard like trump and in two years there will not even be a need for an election because it will be a forgone conclusion.

Respectfully,
Trump stunned the world by winning in 2016; yet
he did not win last nite and his demeanor shows it.
Many need to get real.

I totally disagree. Not only was last night a huge win, but it was a TEA referendum.
Even though we had Congress, we TEA never had Congress, the RINO did, which is no different than had the dims been running the show. Congress did everything it could to block the Trump agenda, just like the RINO did to Reagan.
Point is, we weeded out a shitload of RINO, and ushered in 35 new Freedom Caucus/TEA members (though we'll see if they stay true).
So in other words, Congress has not changed, but we just moved the Senate to the Right. Every Pub that ran against Trump's agenda, lost, everyone that Hussein campaigned for, lost.

So how is that in anyway bad news for the country. Now we'll have the real gridlock we need, the way the Founders designed it, so, not one side, has all the power.

Agree. With the current makeup of the house, senate and WH all the democrats will accomplish in the next two years is make fools of themselves.
