LaRue Tactical to restrict law enforcement sales in response to gun control laws

Due to the recent and numerous new Anti-gun/Anti-2nd Amendment laws passed and/or pending across our country, LaRue Tactical has been forced to reconsider how we provide products to state and local agencies.

Effective today, in an effort to see that no legal mistakes are made by LaRue Tactical and/or its employees, we will apply all current State and Local Laws (as applied to civilians) to state and local law enforcement / government agencies. In other words, LaRue Tactical will limit all sales to what law-abiding citizens residing in their districts can purchase or possess.

State and local laws have always been a serious focus of this firm, and we are now dovetailing that focus with the constitutional rights of the residents covered in their different areas by the old and new regulations.

We realize this effort will have an impact on this firm's sales – and have decided the lost sales are less danger to this firm than potential lawsuits from erroneous shipments generated by something as simple as human error.

Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Kudos to them.

The only rational form of gun control is the kind that keeps guns out of the hands of state's goons.

Think they should restrict sales only to the public. Go to a gun shop and see if you can find an ar-15.  They would not see any decrease in sales at all and the more of these guns that make it into the hands of the public the safer we are going to be from what the left is bring on our heads.

Why doesn't it apply to military / federal, if it's in response to the federal hijinks  ?

I can appreciate it possibly giving NY, CA, IL the boning they deserve.

But the feds deserve the same treatment.  That's what doesn't make sense.

It does to me.

Well maybe you can explain it then.

First I don't see why sales are restricted to "law enforcement" as in local law enforcement ie Sheriffs, since Locals seem to be the ones talking sense and RESISTING the idea of enforcing any overeaching gun control measures.

In such context It would make more sense to restrict sales to the Federal Govt agencies who will likely be the ones coming down like a shit storm (or maybe not, depending) should anything go thru.

My guess would be in many instances the Feds would try and disarm the local Sheriff's FIRST.

Be cautious who you cheer on for what reason.

It can't make sense if they still supply the feds.

It's supposedly a pushback to unconstitution fed actions. Or state actions.

One would have to examine their record of US Govt contracts to figure out their true motive and intent.
