Libs and rino heads are exploding.

No, she didn't say she's interested in running, only that she's interested in the 2016 campaign, but we all know this is how grassroots gets the ball rolling.
Will she run?

DES MOINES — Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin told The Washington Post in an interview Friday that she is "seriously interested" in running for the White House in 2016.

"You can absolutely say that I am seriously interested," Palin said, when asked to clarify her thinking about a possible presidential bid.

Palin, the GOP's 2008 vice-presidential nominee, said she stood by comments she made Thursday in Las Vegas to ABC News, where she first expressed enthusiasm about potentially competing for the Republican presidential nomination.

"I am. As I said yesterday, I'm really interested in the opportunity to serve at some point," Palin said Friday, as former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum, a potential 2016 rival, looked on.

Palin previously mulled a presidential run ahead of the 2012 election cycle, but declined to enter the contest. During the run-up to the GOP primaries, her supporters built an expansive political network in Iowa on her behalf, in case she jumped in.

On the campaign trail last year, Palin traveled extensively to bolster her handpicked candidates, including stops in Iowa with Republican Joni Ernst, who won a Senate seat. Her political-action committee, SarahPAC, donated to several tea-party favorites.

I would certainly  support her if she is the nominee. However, she has been proven to be very successful in supporting other conservative candidates since she came upon the scene. She can energize the base.

And I believe that is what she will say when pressed. But I also think she is floating a balloon to see what kind of support this generates.
Personally, I'd love to see her and Cruz align as a complete ticket.

But regardless of the outcome, she is definitely a force to be taken seriously, she can make or break a candidate with one Tweet.

I like Palin's political and (public) personal philosophies. But I don't think she has what it takes to be a good president. We need someone who not only holds to traditional American values, but one who can stare down the barrel of a large caliber rifle and dare the holder to pull the trigger. And, regardless which of the numerous reasons speculated why she resigned from the governor's seat in Alaska, that move does not sit well with me. The People trusted her enough to put her in office - an office she asked for - she had the obligation to see it through. I like seeing her out there stumping for the conservative cause. But I just don't believe she belongs behind the big desk in the Oval Office.

Is it time to begin a permanent thread on the 2016 GOP nomination process. The first cattle call is in Des mines this weekend.

I disagree.  Sarah Palin has exactly what it takes to be POTUS>a love of county, a respect for our Constitution and a whole lot of courage. I don't know that I'm ready to jump on the Palin for President bandwagon, just yet, though. If it were her against Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney, I'd gladly support her, but her "brand" has no doubt  been severely tarnished by the MSM, for years.  If she campaigned and overcame this obstacle during the primary, I wouldn't have any trouble supporting her.  She is without a doubt the most charismatic person we have, that's why the left hates her and have poisoned the well on every occassion.

What do you think she has been doing since November of 2008?

Actually, she took a Statesmen position in her resignation. I applaud her for this, considering how she was attacked constantly in and by the leftist media.
Though Sarah did get the last laugh after the media had to eat crow over the email investigation.

"I'm determined to take the right path for Alaska, even though it is unconventional and it's not so comfortable."

One factor she cited was the media and political attacks on her, and she suggested that her reason for quitting abruptly was to allow the state to move forward under Parnell without distraction, calling this the "right path for Alaska."

Woah, big fella...   Let the stew simmer a bit.  A thread like that will be monstrously ponderous if sticky'd this soon.  37-pages, 4367 replies...

Palin and her family took such a beating from the media and liberals in general no one would blame her if she dropped out of the picture but she continues to take on the same people that tried to destroy her.

I don't think she's worried about gun barrels.

Palin is still taking name and kicking ass!  She is a power even yet.  The MSM does not like it when she comes out swing.  After 7 years they have not buried her alive even yet.  God knows the MSM have spent a bundle of money trying.   What I like, they will keep on pouring money down that same rat hole.  As she keeps getting free press.

well, she certainly has more name recognition, than she had in 2008; not as much as "Hillary" but people do know her name.  Unfortunately, the MSM has created a distorted image of Sarah Palin for many, if not most, people.  Sarah is so charismatic and such a down to earth person/speaker, that she might be able to turn that around.  However, it's a steep hill for her to climb, together with her family.

You should educate yourself on how she took on the oil companies in Alaska.  She could stand up the entire House and Senate with her backbone alone.

You would have done the same thing.  Alaska is the only state in the union that doesn't protect the Governor.  She had to address each frivolous charge.  She was literally hogtied during that period.  That in no way is a mark against her.

She had quite a high approval rating as governor.

The one thing Palin has proved is she isn't stupid. I doubt she will run because the field is already crowded and I truly believe she says things like this needle the libs and the RINOS.
