In an unprecedented move of ruthless tyranny, Oregon Governor Kate Brown has just signed into law a Democrat-backed document which allows the government to confiscate guns without any prior notice.

Had hillary become president this would have happened across the west coast and the U.S. would have followed next. Funny, as long as the States are trashing the constitution, the liberals are all for "States Rights". Hopefully the S.C.O.T.U.S. will take this one on before they can start enforcing it.

"Police generally do not need warrants to make searches when time restraints make it impractical. Generally, when the time it would take to get a warrant would endanger public safety or risk the destruction of important evidence, a police officer may conduct a search without a warrant."
Simply waaay too damn vague...
But this was enacted when conservatives ran things and never thought it might be used as a tool of leftists for simple confiscation.
This is another reason we should encourage Trump to bust up the Ninth Circus, so we can reverse these abusive laws.

Don't worry Tac, it's moving one state at a time. This shit started on the East Coast, invaded Ca in the 60s and moved North and South, now working their way through the back through N/E the S/E and Mid West back to home base.
While Colorado has a progressive gov and legislature, they haven't gone to the extremes of WA,OR,CA,NY and a few others. When they do,I'll consider moving.

It'll happen just like it did here, incrementally at first, till the day voter districts are realigned per census, then like a switch, the state loses through leftist theft via Gerrymandering.
It's how they've done it all over the country, they seize the biggest cities, create districts where none existed prior, give them to the likes of a Maxine Waters, and the rest is history.
It's up to Conservatives to unite, though the inherent problem with Conservatives, is we're usually working to pay the theft of leftists and haven't the time to organize and fight back.

Sounds like They are using the EXIGENT CIRCUMSTANCES doctrine for warrantless search, that has been around and upheld by the Supreme court since the late 70's and reinforced from time to time by various SUPREME COURT DECISIONS.
The courts are more tolerant of warrantless searches that involved ARMED SUSPECTS who have committed or are committing crimes such as Armed robbery, shootings, holding hostages, sniper etc.
Merely possessing a firearm IN YOUR HOME is not an EMERGENCY unless you are threatening someone with it...immediate threat.

Exactly correct, and now leftists want to expand the law to include, anything 'THEY' consider a threatening situation.
