LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Legislature gave final approval Tuesday to a bitterly contested right-to-work plan limiting the power of unions, a devastating and once unthinkable defeat for organized labor in a state considered a cradle of the movement.

Unswayed by Democrats' pleas and thousands of protesters inside and outside the state Capitol, the House approved two final bills, sending them on to Republican Gov. Rick Snyder. One dealt with private sector workers, the other with government employees. Both measures cleared the Senate last week.

People aren't stupid, they saw what the unions have done to Michigan and this is a referendum against union domination.

That's what i'm talking about baby. See Michigan now you have a choice to do as you please. Welcome to the bright side of things.
People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

Good, it's about time somebody stood up to these Union thugs and wanna be bolchiviks.

Michigan Gov. Snyder signs right-to-work bills.

LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has signed right-to-work legislation, dealing a devastating and once-unthinkable defeat to organized labor in a state that has been a cradle of the movement for generations.

He put his signatures on the bills Tuesday, hours after the state House passed the measures as the chants of thousands of angry pro-union protesters filled the Capitol.

Snyder says a failed ballot proposal to enshrine collective bargaining rights in the constitution triggered the discussion that led to the passage and signing of right-to-work.

During a news conference, he called the protests "an exercise in democracy."

Just when I thought we  were doomed, low and behold states rights.
AND in Michigan no less.
Hope our jubilation is not premature.
If it was easy everyone would be do'in it.

I love watching these union goons go apeshit over losing their stranglehold on Michigan of all places. Now, with that in mind, what do you think the chances of the rest of the Rust Belt going to RTW states would be??
There are only two kinds of people that vote Democrat anymore.  Die hard Liberal Communists and Morons.

I see them going one at a time very slowly.  But that's just my way of thinking.

Let's say for shits and giggles the entire Rust Belt goes RTW, I think it will give the Democrats an ulcer in that they lost a huge chunk of support, and votes!!

Yawn

The leftist loons are going crazy in Michigan and it's fun to watch.  The mayor of Lansing is a Socialist and this is really getting to him. He ran against Snyder and lost.

Now, Geoffrey Fieger (Kevorkian Attorney who also ran for governor awhile back) is going nuts buying air-time. He's crying that Michigan is taken over by "far-right Republican radicals!"  NOBODY would call Snyder that except a FAR LEFT SOCIALIST.  He's a RHINO, but do you see how much good even a RHINO can do when he replaces a Socialist or a Communist (hint, hint).

It's great comic relief in our state as the federal government slides down the slippery slope.

If you don't know Feiger, here's a spoof on him.  He's got Feiger nailed!  As soon as I get the "FAR right Republican radical" commercial, I'll post it. It's hilarious.

What's funny is that THESE are the ones crying about the "leechers" who will take advantage of working in a unionized workplace without "contributing."  Just don't point out the 47% who pay no federal income tax!

This battle is making my day!  The other funny thing was, Snyder said he didn't want this devisive issue, but he'd sign it if it came across his desk.  The unions forced it in November, of course THEY were expecting a different outcome--"Damn those FAR RIGHT REPUBLICAN RADICALS!" (aka Average Michigan citizen)

Hannity commented on the double standard in the media we are all aware of.  Media minimizes this violence - taking down a tent with women and elderly inside.  But anything from a Tea Party rally would be exaggerated.  Today (Wednesday) he will be showing more examples of violence on the left.
