"Everything must have a purpose?" asked God. "Certainly," said man. "Then I leave it to you to think of one for all this," said God. And He went away.

I remain worried that our complete lack of interest in their treason, other serial crimes, election fraud, and regal / dictator approach to governing.....will somehow win it all for them in 2014 and 2016.

We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in 2012 by not bothering to care about it.  If we continue to let it all slide indefinitely, there's no logical reason to assume that we win anything.

Should we win everything ?  Absolutely.  But 'should' means absolutely nothing anymore.  It's been replaced by their machine and our indifference to it.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the American voters.

I agree with that.  If the scandals and actions of this government haven't awakened the American voter to the nature of what is being done, nothing will.  I thought at the last presidential election we would have been fed up with these crooks, but it seems nothing will persuade them that they are in mortal danger of losing their country.

Too many are in mortal fear of losing their food stamps and unemployment checks, and too many have never been even as much as told in passing how their own government works.

Surprise. Let's wait until after the 2016 Elections...

This is just another desperate attempt to delay the impact of the ACA. It won't wok as it affects a relatively small number of folks and many companies will not find it cost effective to maintain the policies. In addition, states would also have to approve these extensions and some departments of insurance have indicated no interest in doing this.

Sadly, you are probably right.

But they need those people to pay more to keep the program afloat. How will this not kill it?

I remember when Civics was an actual course in high school. And the same for History. That was the same time frame when Latin was also offered, even at a Class C high school of only 400 students grades 7-12.

That "Social Studies" nonsense sure homogenized and oversimplified that notion, didn't it?

Doesn't matter. Most of the state insurance oversight agencies have already refused to allow extension of time for the old independent market policies. And the notices for the company plans will start going out before the 2014 elections. If he extends those, he has in effect repealed the law.

If they delay this past 2016 they will have to do everything possible to win the election. The fraud will be historical.

Strangely, it appears that the LIV, moochers, and brain-damaged are more fearful of losing their gravy train.....than the rest of us are, of a coup and a socialist dictatorship.

Oh well, hopefully it will be like WW2 in europe.....we'll have our own Churchill even if we screw around way past too-late.

Where I went to school, they called it "Government" instead of "Civics." And yes, Latin is long gone at my old school. I took three years of it, m'self. Best English grammar classes I ever took!  :tounge: (Those of you who sweated through your Latin declensions and conjugations and person and gender alignments know what I'm talking about.)
