The "Conversion Rate" On Healthcare.Gov: The Obamacare Number Nobody's Talking About May Be The Most Revealing...

The Story...
"Everything must have a purpose?" asked God. "Certainly," said man. "Then I leave it to you to think of one for all this," said God. And He went away.

We are ostensibly winning the battle here, but we've still got to respond to the eventual kamikaze attack once this phase is deemed an utter failure.

This will consist of massive MSM-supported PR, and Obama EO's ordering the conversion of the Obamacare concept over into "emergency" single-payer, totally govt owned systems.  Why would he think this won't sail right through, like his daily rewrites of the law  ?

It will be sold as a virtual Katrina-Sandy-like response to a "human disaster" that must be solved right now.

Here's hoping that anybody gets around to actually fighting it hard.....unlike Obamacare or Benghazi or IRS or F&F, so far.

Let me see if I understand you. After seeing what a clusterphuck government has made of Obozocare; the emergency fallback is to put the government totally in charge? That may sound good in DC - but not to the millions of enraged citizens descending on Washington with pitchforks and torches. Why the Dims think that seeing government as a total failure is supposed to make the public want more government is beyond me. Perhaps it's just a case of believing your own propaganda.

Obama can't just flip a switch and convert our system into a single payer one. If he tried no Democrat would be elected again for a generation.

He seems to be doing a good job so far, he has change b o care 4 times now that it is law without congress ok.   Along with using the EO for going around congress, that's just a bump in the road for him.

I agree with your assessment up to a point. The Kenyan couldn't manage such a switch any more than he and his crew could design a simple database/website in 3 1/2 years with unlimited funds.

But as for "no Democrat... for a generation," I dunno. You'd have to expect one hell of a lot of people to say, "Sure, I'll take a chance on losing my [insert one: welfare benefits, food stamps, free cell phone, free school lunch for my kids, Medicare, Medicaid, farm subsidy, energy subsidy, EIC, etc. etc. etc.] to show those pesky Democrats how I feel."

Good luck with that.

It wouldn't be just the republicans in congress. The democrats would revolt too! Even Dirty Harry would not stand by and watch anyone usurp his power. As much as the other libs want single payer to do it in that matter would get him Impeached!!
As you said it would destroy their party and set back their whole agenda for a generation and for what? The new congress and President would just repeal it!

True but it's just not just that. A single payer system eliminates the insurance companies. There is no infrastructure that could replace the insurance companies. This is where Barry f**ked up. Obamacare was designed to slowly destroy the insurance industry which would the pave the way for a single payer system. Unfortunately for them the designed collapse happened overnight, not over several years.

Of course, the Leftards believe they're much smarter than those evil" capitalists in the insurance industry. in an case the fact that the Leftards won't to cover more expensive conditions at the same rates as the healthy, shows that they haven't got a clue as to what they're doing. It sounds good, but it's a high speed head on with reality.
