I too had never heard that this was possible until now.

The point being that our military exists to fight real enemies, like Isis.

We have scientists and Dr's to fight things like Viruses and sickness.

I mean seriously, even  a six year old (my nephew) can comprehend and "gets" that soldiers are there to fight as he puts it, "the bad guys" (notice the word guys there) for us, only again proves that liberal's like The Obama, are incompetent and wholly unfit to act and serve as President of these United States.

I've read all your questions and comments.  I again think that Ebola is Obama's  excuse to take 3,000 troops and send them elsewhere so that they won't be available to defend our homeland.

In my humble opinion, this has nothing to do with Obama trying to look good; he could care less and has already been re-elected, so certainly he isn't doing this for the sake of party.

He has a clear agenda which is now being fulfilled.  ISIS is rampant in the Middle East - caliphate established. Our borders are still open, thousands of illegal children were welcomed in.  Who knows how many ISIS militants are already in our country, or are still coming in. We were warned by a Saudi King that ISIS will be at our doorsteps within 2 months; right in time for the November elections.  3,000 of our troops won't be here to defend us.

Obama has accumulated too many failures and scandals and told too many lies for them just to be because he is incompetent.  I am convinced his agenda is and always has been to destroy this country from within.

Alright you guys and gals!  It's Urkel to the rescue!  Does Bozo not remind y'all of a whiz kid, complete with the little beanie cap with a propeller on top?  Thing is, he is all about doing something for his native continent before that stuff takes out his relatives in Kenya.  Forget that he is president of the US and focus on his ties to Africa.  His misplaced allegiance to a father that didn't want to have anything to do with him either.  He is beyond insane with this latest move and it will backfire.  If the disease could infect people there that knew how to protect themselves how will the thousands going there not be infected whether they have the needed protections or not? 

Is it possible that we are living a nightmare?  Say it ain't so, somebody!  Know who is even crazier than Bozo?  Yep, Congress.  ......and before y'all ask me what should we do?  The time for solutions to avoid these kinds of messes has exited a long time ago.  When Bozo was elected under the pretenses of hope and change, I knew that he was only a man, one that could not work miracles and turn matters in a different direction that everyone would be pleased with.  The general opinion was that he could do wonders, that what we needed was finally happening, that the first black man to occupy the office of pres was all that was ever gonna' be needed to right the wrongs of this evil world.  Exactly how has that worked in our favor?  Any of it?

Someone in an earlier post of this thread posed the scenarios of 3000 troops to fight Ebola and no troops to Benghazi, or no troops to secure our borders once and for all.   America is in grave peril.  I'm so thankful that we still have a group of men in this country that will come to our aid regardless of what this pos in Washington does or doesn't do.   I'm talking about the thousands of honest to goodness men that took an oath to protect and serve our country, the same oath that our pres took on his first day in office.  There is a long hall in my home that I proudly display all of the medals and commendation frames that my "sheriff" earned while he was in for his twenty in the AF.  He stands still ready to do the same job he did then and there are so many thousands more like him that won't hesitate to protect their own.  Thank God for all of them, but especially the ones that our president deliberately puts in harm's way, in situations better suited to be handled by healthcare workers.  So much more could be accomplished in areas where the threat of death is greater.   I'm done for now, this whole mess has just bewildered me and made me quite sick.

Keep in mid we are only seven weeks away from an election. He is in pure campaign mode. He is realizing he may lose Harry Reid as majority leader who has protected him from making hard decisions and now he is working to energize the base. He was in Atlanta yesterday touting this action and today he is in Tampa trying to salvage some military votes. As always, watch what he does, not what he says.
