This move takes away their one vote super majority and can no longer stuff their warped vision of morality down the throats of Californians.

Now the question is, and I think it was Chevron that bought Nunez, but was he hired for his expertise, or did they buy him to destroy the Dims ability to kill Chevron expansion plans within the State?

Either way, Californians owe a debt of gratitude to Chevron for killing the leftists majority grip on the State.

To walk away from the second most powerful political seat in Ca. and a stepping stone to the WH, one has to be really greedy to turn their back on the leftist agenda.
This in and of itself speaks volumes about liberals, or politicians in general, they aren't in it for the people, rather themselves.

Good for Chevron, they actually spent money in the right place for a change, once they are done with him, he is toast as far as the left is concerned, they won't forget how he ruined their chance of undoing Prop 13, the prop that keeps the state from taxing property owners without a two thirds majority.
Had he stayed, they could have change the law to a simple 55% majority and accomplishing the ability to steal from property owners.
The left doesn't care about property owners in the State, where a majority of voters are renters, or simple vagabonds from another country to the South.
