Another one of Obama's "deals" with the U.N.  This just goes to show that this president will stop at nothing to destroy this country's economy and the welfare of its people.  Once again he plans to side step Congress and ignore the rule of law!

Obama reportedly plotting end-run around Congress on global climate change deal

President Obama reportedly plans to do an end-run around Congress to forge an international climate change deal, effectively bypassing the Constitution's requirement to get the Senate's approval for a treaty.

The New York Times reported that the agreement is slated to be signed at a United Nations meeting next year in Paris. However, because the U.S. Senate is unlikely to ratify any international climate treaty, Obama's negotiators reportedly are working toward an alternative agreement – a "politically binding" deal that would serve in lieu of a bona-fide treaty.

One expert with the Natural Resources Defense Council told the Times "there's some legal and political magic to this."

We must remember that everything this administration does is political. I think all this, along with amnesty, is bait for the GOP to try and impeach Obama before the mid-terms. I think the democrats are soin  panic they see this diversion as the only chance to energize the base.

Possibly.  But if that's all he's got, forget it.  People get tired of simpletons.

Perhaps everything that Congress does is political, but everything this president does is to fulfill his agenda.  At this point he could care less about politics, he's already been re-elected.  He doesn't give a damn about his party or this country.  Sure, we may pick up the Senate, but again, keep in mind, he doesn't care.  He's not playing politics.  He doesn't have to. Those with big money are behind him.  It seems that everyone is talking about the rule of law and our Constitution, when to this president it means absolutely nothing.

Impeachment? Not a chance.  We are six years into this presidency and I think we all need a reality check.  We have 535 members of Congress that have not been able to stop him or have been unwilling to stop him.

So what's new about this item? It's not like he hasn't done this before, but maybe this time the supremes might have something to say about the constitutionality of his 'treaty.'

Nothing new other than the fact another example of Obama trashing the Constitution. Yes, the Supremes might rule against him but so what?  Nothing seems to stop this president.

Congress has threatened impeachment, but even they know it wouldn't do any good.  They can impeach him but that doesn't mean he'll step down.  Is there any other way to remove the president from office??

We are playing by our rules, Obama is not.

Bingo! Unless Congress ratifies the treaty, it is not a binding treaty under the Constitution.
It's like him giving away one of the 57 states , he simply hasn't the authority, he is not, despite his delusion, King.
