An employee of Autozone stopped an armed robbery by going out to his vehicle and getting his weapon to stop the robbery.  He was then fired for violating their "zero tolerance" gun rules.  SMH

The Autozone Facebook page is inundated with complaints about it, their stock went down $22 a share the last two days.  I think it is safe to say people are angry over this.

They should be angry over this.

In this day and age when you have employee's trying to beat the system, challenge their employer in court, fighting them with unions and trying to get over in every possible way. This man has enough loyalty and dedication to RISK HIS LIFE in order to save his fellow employee's and protect his employer from depredation....

And his reward is to get Fired because of some idiotic zero tolerance policy?

The Policy is wrong, the employer is wrong and society is wrong for condoning this.

Screw Autozone. Hire him back WITH A RAISE AND PROMOTION or forget about my business.
