A local struggling mom writes a letter to the President and she gets not only a lunch meeting with him but later gets featured in his State Of The Union speech. A very touching story about a regular woman...who "coincidentally" was a Democrat operative. However, the Minneapolis Star Tribune very "mysteriously" left this very important fact out of the story about her written by Allison Sherry. This prominent background fact was not exactly hidden from view. Ms Sherry could have googled the woman in question, Rebekah Erler, and found a Reuters article from last June that pointed out her connection to Democrat Senator Patty Murray as a field organizer as well as a Minnesota Republican press release of that month revealing the same information. However, not to spoil the Sherry's carefully crafted story that oh so conveniently neglected to mention you know what, cue up the violins as we read about the travails of a "regular" struggling woman: - See more at: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/pj-gladnick/2015/01/21/star-tribune-fails-reveal-local-woman-featured-sotu-was-democrat?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=marketing&utm_term=facebook&utm_campaign=sotu-woman#sthash.1WJd3AXe.dpuf

UPDATE: The reason why the Star Tribune reporter Allison Sherry failed to reveal that Rebekah Erler was a Democrat operative is that Sherry herself has a long history of acting as an unofficial Democrat operative. ColoradoPeakPolitics has a huge catalog of Sherry's liberal biases while working on behalf of the Democrats at the Denver Post. -

When I see a headline like THIS one, I freaking-well DEMAND perp-walk photos as they haul Obama off to his cage at Gitmo. Anything less is false advertising. Don't get my hopes up!

We have a great opportunity here.  Either somebody takes out a full-page ad in some newspapers asking for a bunch of resignations for politicizing & using the SOTU as a conspiracy / fraud.........or they win as always.  Meh, what's new here  ?

Well, the guy creates composite girlfriends for pseudo-bio's, so it's no surprise his handlers jam potemkin victims at us for pseudo events.

That would be his most coveted photo op-ever!  I'd even travel to witness that 'un.

I've said this before, but one of my fave ideas is to put together a cage made of aluminum rods 0.75" in diameter, which offers a tensile strength of roughly 90,000 p.s.i. and super resistance to salt-water environments like Little Islam down on the Gitmo complex.

Marine grade aluminum can be welded. Rods can be cut into almost any length to form cages. I used to think 4 feet per side would be enough. Now I like shorter walls and a honeycomb effect so whoever is inside cannot stretch out no matter what they do.

Hang that open-weave aluminum ball on a chain.

Call it a pinata for the guards.

That's no way to talk about your president.

So do you prefer we just call it, what is  instead? That we be "polite" in our description of what this was in the STOU speech?

Ok fine.

What a boat load of lies.

BTW, just a side point of interest/note.

When the President goes to Congress, to give his speech.

When informing the Congress as to the State of the Union, if he/she bald faced lies to Congress, and the American people like that.

IS an impeachable offense under the Constitution as, his/her truthful reporting to the Congress as to the State of the Union IS a Constitutionally mandated duty of the President.

Oh no I got he's being sarcastic. But since he brings it up, lets call this facade for what it is.

The President bald faced lied to the Congress, in the performance of his duties.

Of course I now expect the Congress will do the right thing and Impeach is backside for it too.

See I get and understand sarcasm. Sometimes
