Well... how else can it be described?   the Obama administration has politicked the FBI and used every federal resource they could to spy on the opposition party.   Of course I'm referring to the opposition party as TEA... ok, I'll throw in *some* Republicans too... happy now!?

Wrong - it's about our own government spying on Americans, and pretending we are some kind of criminal element - like the IRS did to Conservative and Religious groups.

Comparing Watergate to the current scandal:

Watergate: some White House staffers broke into
the Democratic Party HQ in the Watergate office complex,
pried open a locked filing cabinet, and stole some files.

The current scandal: Obama had the CIA "wiretap" various Russians
and did not minimize monitoring of Americans as required by law.
(It is illegal for the CIA to spy on Americans.)

Instead, Obama issued an Executive Order that
expanded the sharing of raw intelligence data
(including the unmasked identities of
Americans monitored along with the Russians)
with 17 other intelligence agencies.
This was to make it impossible to track down who the leaker is
when the data is leaked, because so MANY could have leaked it!

Not only were the Americans being unmasked,
but the CIA was compiling extensive dossiers on the Americans
of the sort that a private investigator compiles
when hired by a divorce attorney!

How many of these Russians were being monitored
because they might be government agents?
Versus how many of these Russians were being monitored
just because it was an excuse to monitor
the Americans with whom they were doing business?

Remember the Clinton spygate scandal?
900 FBI files on Americans were illegally given to White House staff
for the purpose of Clintons spying on political opponents.

Imagine if Nixon had had the CIA
break into numerous offices all over the country
and steal thousands of files of Americans' personal information,
and compile the information into dossiers
to be used by their political opponents!

The current scandal IS THE SAME THING as a thousand Watergates!
