I'd like to see the someone publish a map of the entire newspapers staff's residences.Calling all burglers, serial rapists, home invasion crews and sneak theives...these people have lots of money and don't beleive in having guns.Word.Billy
Will this do Billy.... Names, Address, E-Mail and Phone number.http://christopherfountain.wordpress.com/tag/cyndee-royle/
"Since the Journal-News published its interactive map, Mr. Fountain, who typically blogs about local real estate deals with occasional forays into politics, has been publishing a list of home addresses, phone numbers and various other bits of personal information about Journal-News staff—including info on the paper’s publisher, its editor-in-chief, and the reporter and designer responsible for the offending story, as well as a laundry list of other staff, right down to the guy responsible for “comics, crosswords, Jumble, Sudoku, movie clock.”http://betabeat.com/2012/12/blogger-doxes-journal-news-staff-after-paper-publishes-map-of-westchester-gun-permit-holders/
They can push for bans all they want. They seem to be working under the mistaken impression that the people trust them enough to meekly turn in their weapons. I don't think so.
I still don't understand how there aren't already 50 lawsuits breaking the back of this paper.Just more conservatives saying "ho-hum, better not make waves, don't want to be looked at as fanatical"....while they get gang raped by the leftist machine.
Journal News hires armed security guardshttp://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2013/01/journal-news-hires-armed-security-guards-153103.htmlConservatives and gun rights advocates publicly protested the paper's move; on Monday, the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association called for a nationwide boycott of the paper's advertisers, calling it a “wanton act” that “has put in harm's way tens of thousands of lawful license holders."The Rockland County Times, a Journal News competitor, led its exclusive report citing the juxtaposition of targeting gun ownership while hiring armed guards. "Guns are good for the goose but NOT for the gander," Dylan Skriloff, the Rockland County Times' associate publisher & editor-in-chief wrote.
I think you can pursue a lawsuit, if you can illustrate tangible harm by someone else's actions, regardless of the legal issues.Mental anguish, loss of affection, living in fear, loss of appetite, stress, etc....all things that liberals pepper their lawsuits with, all day every day. If you can attach the meanings / purposes of outing people as "gun owners", there may be a little slander / libel in there too.I think this is how we have civil suits filed, even after a legal-based suit has been lost. People often win the latter even after losing the former.
