But it's funny. Just like it's noted that the liberals flee their cesspools of CA, DET, STL, CHI, NJ, NY, etc.....and then proceed to destroy wherever it is that they flee to......it seems just the same at a larger level.A lot of riffraff gets here and hates the success, and wants to make America suck as much as where they came from. Ditto the communists & socialists, who know their little folly always fails, but want to see it fail here too. I guess just for laughs.
I agree about the racist part. B better choice of words would have been better. I do get what was meant though. Probabyt it would have been better to say, the days of Ozzie and Harriet are over.
I'm sure you have found yourself in the same situations that I have. You give them facts and go back and forth and once they get cornered and have no reply their "modus operandi" is always the same. First, the outright lies. Once disproven, the name calling starts. Then when there is more than one on the site, they PM each other...and the gang attack starts. Usually troll like ad hominem attacks.That's why I said to myself, it's hopeless. So I figured I'd seek out one more board where perhaps there aren't as many. And I'm talking about the bigger boards where one would think that the administrators would just ban them. Not a chance.I literally can't take them anymore and I tend to be a very patient person. My wife said, "why do you let strangers aggravate you". Finally, one day it seeped in. She's right! This is my "last hurrah" so to speak.Oh I left out their favorite attack line..."that's what happens when you watch FOX News" Then they link to the Huffington Post, the Daily Kos or a video from MSLSD.
The thing that delineates us above all other forums, is we do not allow lies to be posted, misinformation etc, if a member does it, they are corrected, when a lib does it, they have to back up their claims with facts, not opinion pieces.It drives the left nuts, because they know they are wrong on all accounts where the country is being dragged.I have no issue with libs posting, I just want honest debate from a constructive POV.

I to be honest can get just as mean and nasty right back but am not proud of it and once in awhile need reminder, but like was said you can only talk and explain so much then you go off the deep end yourself. This so far is an awesome sight! You know what else I noticed too is some of the whinier Libs don't vote. At least from the last forum we were on.
I hear you loud and clear. Trust me, I can get real ugly if pushed but like I mentioned, I tend to be patient until my last button gets pushed. What bothered me was that I started lowering myself to their level, so rather than continue, with nothing to gain, I just said "f" it. I did spend years at these boards. It wasn't like I was a "johnny-come-lately" and did a hit and run.The troll thing pissed me off. They had what they called "the Flame Zone" which was nothing more than a place to attack people. In fact, those people, if they didn't visit that section, didn't even know they were being villified...and I mean it was nasty. What I batttled with the admins over was why didn't restrcit the nastiness to that section. One could be posting in the Politics section and along came 5 of them, all coordinating and attacking with name calling and worse. They only answer one would get was to be told take a few days away or put them on ignore. What the hell does ignore accomplish if everyone can see you being attacked and you're not replying. It was a win-win for the trolls..and sorry to say, they were always Libs doing it. It's all they have.Worse yet the Conservatives would sit there with there finger up their you know what. One thing about Libs...they stick together far better than the group there. The icing on the cake was there were more Conservatives yet they didn't stick together. When another was attacked, I'd do my best to help them out. When it was me...nothing so I said the hell with this place.Anyway, I see you know what I'm talking about so no need for me to bitch further. I'm here now and so far I like it.
The inherent issue with libs and trolling, is 90% of them are just kids.Which is why you seldom see them here, they know they haven't the intellect to go up against any of our members, let alone a whole forum full.We do have libs posting and most are thoughtful and well read, but quite honestly, they are few and far between, even out in the real world.
Very true...kids...the "mommy's basement Xbox crowd". They don't even try. Can't tell you how many times, I'd try to engage them with facts and links and get back.."f" you, we won, live wth it. That's their discourse.
