Title: November 6th. Your final predictions.
Post by: Cryptic Bert on October 09, 2012, 09:06:02 PM
Who wins and by what popular/electoral margin? You have until October 24 to decide. Exactly two weeks before the election. The one with the closest guess wins a $5 plaque and a tour of Walkstall's holiday trousers....

If it's cool I would like to sticky this.

Yeah, that was weird, even though she could have stood up to the Marxist and given them a security force, she folded like wet cardboard.
Something just don't seem right with that whole thing.

Because normally, the MSM would have met with the DNC and devised a plan to circle the wagons, instead, Hitlary volunteered to roll under the wheels?

Pardon me for being more skeptical than the rest of you, but I think this will be a very close election. Do not become complacent and make sure you and everyone you know gets out and votes. Specially if you live in a battle ground state.

It will all come down to Ohio. If Romney can't pull Ohio, nothing else matters. Florida will go for Romney...I see a lot of enthusiasm among Republicans here, but little among Democrats.

Unlike the Regan campaign, this time around the Right is actually angry, it's not that we love Romney, but rather our country.
In all my years, I've never seen the Right so motivated.
I expect to see an Electoral map much like that of 1986, not quite, but pretty close.

I went for a walk around my community this evening and counted a total of 20 Mitt Romney signs. I did not see a single Obama sign. Four years ago there were 6 or 7 Obama signs up in the community. Hopefully that's a good sign for Romney here in Florida.

Even before the 1st debate I felt that Romney was ahead -- now he has furthered that lead.  I do hope that it is a landslide win because the anarchists and affiliated groups (like Anonymous) look to use a close election as their chance to riot and claim foul.

I feel that voters increasingly distrust another four years with Obama.  I don't so much trust polls, the  selection interviewed seems disproportionate at times, not giving us a true picture.  I'm just basing my opinion on my understanding of what has transpired over four years.  Voters are seeing a different man in Obama than they saw when he was getting elected.  Our country is in deep trouble and obama still has not come foward with his plan.  Oh, he does have one, restassured, but it will be even more radical than his first term.  I think that is what americans are feeling too, common sense will rule when nothing else will work.
I do worry about interference at the voting polls, resulting in alot of anger and miscounts, fraudulent claims, judges having to make the decision(hopefully a judge that Obama didn't appoint).

Now that was all well and good but here I am rummaging around in my flower bed every morning or chasing jackson (the neighbor's redbone hound0 up and down the street trying to retrieve my paper.  I do get the Grnvl. I'm afraid the worm has turned this week and I now see little chance of Romney getting to 270 electoral votes barring some catastrophic news for Obammy. To think we will lose this election after the disaster of the last 4 years does not bode well for our future chances at capturing the Presidency. We had an attractive candidate who ran a decent race against an incumbent who has a terrible Carteresque record and we still couldn't beat the freeloaders who are now in control of the elections in this country. I fear for the future of what once was the great United States of America

MJ, do yourself a favor, turn off the TV and go about your life and just vote.
What you're seeing is pure spin by the left, they need to create an illusion that HUsein has a chance, or their support will feel voting is a lost cause.
The GOP are playing the game as well, because they don't want the right thinking it's in the bag for Mitt and simply sit home thinking someone else will vote and all will be fine.

But the reality is, husein will not win, in fact he will lose in a complete landslide.

I agree with Solar, I was watching Dick Morris last night and he was explaining how all the major polsters are weighting their poll numbers based on 08 turnout.  The turnout in 08 would account for the Obama excitement factor, which just isn't there this time around.  Dick Morris averages turnout over a number of elections for an average (which still can't account for conservative excitment over ousting Obama, and even putting someone in office who is qualified for the job, but it's closer).  He is predicting, based on those averages to weight current polls, a landslide victory for Romney.

Axelrod has offered to shave his mustache if any one of MN, MI, or PA, go red.  I will be doing my part in MN to make sure that happens.

MJ, I too have inside info that I won't divulge.
But consider one fact, the Dim party has the same stats, which is why Husein bought a house in Hawaii.

I just put a call into one of my business partners who is very close and good friends with David Plouffe.  I'll tell you exactly what their internals are saying.  If you have a source higher up than that, then let me know.

MJ, I too have inside info that I won't divulge.
But consider one fact, the Dim party has the same stats, which is why Husein bought a house in Hawaii.

If he had another four years, there would be no need to setup house so soon.

Oh, and the person that told you the internals, he's lying to your face!

He probably got his info from one of their phone bank dialers......

Where ever it came from, it was an outright lie.
He also seems to have forgotten the 2010 midterm blowout, where we slaughtered the left.
And we were only just getting warmed up.

I found this analysis to be pretty close, though I still take it a step further and claim Mitt in the 60% range and Husein in the 30s.

Totally!  They are having to lie to themselves now.

I think stage 2 is denial, and stage 3 is anger.

Denial is 1, anger is 2.
Bargaining is #3 where they will find themselves as the numbers start to come in.
# 4. Depression comes the day after the election.

But here's the problem with the left, they run solely on emotion and will refuse to accept (#5 Acceptance), I believe they will revert to #2, Denial and remain there until the next election when Mitt gets a second term for saving the economy.
At which point they will finally accept the fact that the country flat out rejected liberalism and all that entails.

Bingo!!!!
Much of Huseins support came from kids, kids that had no historical perspective from which to base their idea that he was right for the country.
But those kids just got a real lesson in life, they are unemployed, or those that are employed, aren't seeing any movement or actual raises in wage.

Then there is the Independent, people that voted against Bush, even though he wasn't running, they just hated his policies.
And now we have the liberal voter that hates the fact that they put support behind a guy that lied to them, didn't do as he promised.
These voters will do one of two things, either vote against Husein, or not vote at all.

Then as you pointed out, liberalism has proven to be a cancer on the economy, with it's Global warming lie and their move to kill our energy production, a move that is crippling the country.

You're right, they will slowly understand their way is a cancer on the country and accept the fact it simply doesn't work.
Liberalism will flat-line Nov 7th.

I had a neighbor years ago that referred to his wife as "the war dept".  Funny!

How's everyone doing?  I've just barely got started here and had to take a few days off to actually do some housework!

Well, just 3 more days...........and we'll have a new President   Hope I don't have to eat those words.

Can't wait to get Obama off that TV screen every day of our lives and out of the White House!   ANd tired of  hearing all those lies that keep coming out of his mouth.

Now what can be done with him in regard for what he did or did not do in Bengazzi after the Election........because it is for certain that they are covering his hide until after the election, to proceed with investigations......just ignoring his ignorance and his lack of abilities to tell the truth and make critical decisions about foreign affairs.   They should be treated as criminal actions for not attempting tosave those 4 persons lives when they had plenty of chances and warnings ahead of time as we know NOW....and they knew it back since March that they needed protection.

He did not do anything in 4 years that he got paid to do.

And I bet that they will just try to sweep it under the rug either way.

I want to see an angry face on Obama.  All the libs got such a thrill when bush left in what you might say was disgrace, the way he was treated.   It's someone else's turn to feel the wrath of the american voter and it hasn't come fast enough for me.

Silver, glad you could stop by.  Be sure to check us out during the election.  I on pins and needles for this thing to be over.

Me too!    If Obama wins, I just don't know what I will do or how I will live or cope, if I have to hear on Nov. 6 or  days after, that we have to put up with that man another 4 years....... that voice, those lies, the "Revenge" and devastation that he may bring on America after the election.  I believe that he will tear down and ignore every law that has been made to make us a FREE Nation, and will establish a dictatorship right here in the USA, If given that next 4 years.  And if given that next 4 years, I believe that by the end, he will have torn down that "two term" law for a President to serve and that he may be our last President........dictator..............the thought scares me.

Hope that's just a stretch of my imagination!!  I just don't trust the man!  He has already gotten by with more than anyone in the world has or will ever have, by making his own laws and rules and breaking down every other barrier he can to suit his own purpose.

God forbid that he wins!

ROMNEY FOR PRESIDENT..........VOTE FOR ROMNEY /RYAN

You know, there is a non-trivial probability that Romney will be the victor in the election tomorrow, but the statistics don't favor him.  In all likelihood, you're all going to have a lot of explaining to do.

So, if you're very much confident in Romney pulling a victory, I'll assume that you have no plans to blame an Obama victory on "voter fraud" or Sandy.

Newsflash: the Democratic party is only considered "liberal" by Republicans.  To the rest of the world, they are a center-right organization, and the Republican party is just batshit insane.  We're talking about a party of whom three of its members come out downplaying the severity of rape within a single election cycle.  That's what we call "batshit insane".

That's a silly question.  Who wins has no relevance to who is right, or who would be best for the country.  Unless if you're referring to admitting that you were right about Romney winning, which would depend on the parameters of the statement.

There has been voter fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   On Fox about an hour and half ago, they said that the  machines from one voting place in Colorado had to be picked up, because when people cast their vote for Romney, the machine marked Obama's name instead.....so they had to pick up all the machines in that place and use paper ballots and they only had 50 ballots available....not enough for every one who were standing in line.   Now I wonder how many people voted before anyone even noticed that?

This is pretty much exactly what the internals showed that I was told about and got berated for on here when I posted it. It came from a Republican US Senator whom I know very well and one on whose campaign I have worked on. Sometimes we conservatives get carried away with the positive thinking stuff at the expense of reality and, like Rush, I live in realville. I am however a Christian first and Conservative second so I don't lose sleep over politics because in the great scheme of life and afterlife, it means little in my way of thinking, except for the pain that will come about to some very good people who will have to pay a price for their beliefs very soon IMO

Nate Silver correctly predicted 50 out of 50 states.  I sided with the right statisticians.

This has implications beyond "IN YOUR FACE!" gloating.  It's one thing if a Romney campaign manager projects confidence of a Romney victory to not lose face.  It's another thing when you are utterly and fanatically convinced that Romney will win the election in a landslide, in spite of all statistical evidence to the contrary.  There are two possibilities here:
--- You are unable to separate your bias from the facts.
--- You are so math challenged that you actually objectively analyzed the facts at hand and came to the insane conclusion that Romney would win election.

Probably a bit of both.

Either way, it's going to difficult to rebuild your credibility, Solar.  Why should I trust that your predictions on climate change (infinitely more complex than election statistics, and far beyond your level of comprehension) are not just as self deluded, fact ignoring and incorrect as your 2012 election prediction?  The answer: I shouldn't.  Why should I trust your predictions on the effects of certain policies on job growth and economic stability?  The answer: I shouldn't.  You've demonstrated a disturbing inability to separate reality from fantasy.

And you're probably going to get pissed at what I'm saying, and/or try to mock my argument, but let's face it:

You were wrong.  I was right.  I win at math.

I could gloat if I wanted to.  I could assemble a list of hilarious "Romney will win hahaha Nate Silver is a fool!" moments, but for now, I won't.  I almost pity you, and I would if people like you didn't dictate the fate of millions.

I think my post was more than clear.
But the truth is, the GOP is a huge failure and needs to pay dearly for it.
Now cut the crap, that was all gloating, but your side won, and life goes on.

But know this, what you want and what you get are two completely different things, expect higher costs across the board, not just the rich will get soaked, we all will.

Absolutely no one will get a pass at the gas pumps, or the grocery stores, or retailors or anywhere they have to pay x amount of dollars for goods or services.  You won't be given a stamp that shows which political party you assign yourself to.  I've never had the occasion to diclose my political leanings to acquire any of this.  I think that prices are going to skyrocket at the first of the year and we will ALL pay dearly.  There's only so much STUFF to give out before it's all gone too.

Here's a good example of the chaos we can expect.  The scene thruout the north after the Hurricane and now the Nor'Easter shows people in the panic stage as they go without dire essentials and some of these have been without since the first day.  People disguising themselves as power crew workers in order to gain access to homes and valuables.  Man going off on another person at a gas pump where he had been waiting for over 6 hours.  While I'm at it, how did the voting get by as fast as it did in New York and NJ while all of this was going on?  No problems reported with the voting there.   Hmmm...how much of a problem or great shock will these people have to have before they grow up?  I think most of the problems with these folks start with being liberal and the rest I attribute to their being retarded.  They will always need for someone to tie their shoes, hand them food, hold their hand while they pee and someone better make sure that the lights are left on at night for them    It's just a pity that the lights weren't turned on in their heads at some point in their lives..

Add to that the cost of production from paint to to roofing, all of it requires oil and when the tax is applied, this too is passed along.
So why make paint or roofing materials in this country when you can move it to China and avoid the carbon tax.
The left never considers the reaction of action, there are always consequences in change for the worst.

Yes.  You made ridiculous excuses that sums up the logic you used to determine Romney as the winner:

Your gut feeling.

Now tell me, with your ethical integrity and honesty in mind, that you wouldn't do far more if your side won.

Indeed, you were already gloating before election night!

What makes you think this prediction will be any more accurate than your prediction on the election?

It's still just your gut feeling mixed in with fear and fanaticism.

Hello! Have you not been paying attention?
Reid says he will be raising taxes, Husein said he will let the Bush tax cut expire, the EPA has already drawn up it's 20% carbon tax for 2013.

Are you so biased you cant do the math?

What fear are you talking about?  True conservatives don't fear what worldly men can do to them.  Most of the concerns I've sensed on this forum are ones for everyone's future, how we will survive the greed of the productive and gimmeecrats.  You people get in a hurry to get stuff and bypass what other folks have done to obtain security and it takes time, patience and alot of honest hard work.  Some never get there, most of the time it's just that effort has it's own rewards and there's just a push on these attitudes that make it seem like that these ideals are worthless.  How do you teach children how to be shiftless and lazy, non productive and needy?  I can't do that and neither do I want to.
