Here Trump is kicking ass on trade, put the UN in their place, Made deals with NK, SK and Japan, having trade talks with Mexico and Canada Trudeau is trying to insert himself out of fear that they will be left out.

But the leftists focus on a bogus claim that never involved the police, and they expect us to buy this shit.
Point is, screw em, Brett will be appointed, so let's move on and talk about all the good news they're ignoring, Um-kay?

So far GOPe is holding firm. I am pleased at the tough stance Lindsay Graham is taking.

Counterpunch is a tough site, their OPs are all over the place but I thought this piece interesting.

"Kavanaugh was a robot. He ventured no ideas, no interest in the human condition, no sense of moral wrestling, even in the abstract. He had his talking points. Ambition says, Stick to the script; play it safe even at the risk of appearing to be a depthless drone. Wisdom would say otherwise. Intellectual curiosity and a feeling for justice would say otherwise."

Ya know what sucks though? The day after he's confirmed, this all goes away, the left gets away with character slaughter/murder.
They spent billions on attacking Brett, helped the Dims track down sociopaths from decades ago, gave them the attention they never got as ugly chicks, so as to give them a platform to get even.

This whole process is and was disgusting, and it will only get worse the next time around.
What's sad is, the people feed on it as if it's credible, when it's nothing but a media circus.

Has anyone even looked at real news since the circus began?

The point of this thread is to get people to drop the media shark feeding and start talking about real stuff that matters.

I agree with you and find myself not wanting to watch this circus today. It is important to confirm Justice Kanvanaugh, not just because he is worthy but because we cannot provide democrats with a winning formula for future appointments. If we think this confirmation is ugly it is the minor leagues. Just imagine what would happen if Trump has the opportunity to appoint a replacement for Breyer or Ginsburg.

If he nominated Hillary, she'd be confirmed in 3 seconds.

Cryptic Bert

The democrats know that if Kavanaugh is confirmed their base will eat them alive and the media is doing it's best to protect them.

That might work if he had no previous testimony.  Anyone watching him for more than five minutes quickly recognizes how down to Earth and humble he is.
