snip~
The U.S. Pacific Command revised its initial assessment that the first and third short-range missiles failed during flight to say they flew about 250 kilometers (155 miles). It said that the second missile appears to have blown up immediately and that none posed threat to the U.S. territory of Guam, which the North had previously warned it would fire missiles toward.

Once they figure out how to write letters in the sky and do that flag they always do at the end of the fireworks shows, I'll start to worry.....

For a nation that can put a man on the dark side of the sun, still fumbles with Chinese fireworks.

One wonders if US wars lead to terrorism, refugees, debt, and tyranny.

Check your history, terrorism, refugees, debt, and tyranny all existed long before the United States. You might check to see if communism ever lead to any terrorism, refugees, debt, and tyranny. Here's a hint, start with Lenin.

One wonders if you have any clue why the US system has worked well for so long. Or if you have any idea where the freedom you enjoy came from?

No war is good. But sometimes it is necessary. BO tried to ignore terrorism - how did that work for us? Did it subside? Terrorists are glorified gangs that decide to kill others for personal gain. Refugees are victims of tyrannical governments and terrorists. Debt is the cost that it takes to fight against the wrong. And tyranny is the product of men that find themselves in a position of power over others and ruthlessly keep it.

No - our wars didn't lead to these. Our wars are working figure out how to protect us and others from these evils. Seriously, why do you throw crap like that without thinking about what you are saying. Try and test your words before you puke them out in front of everybody.

Now if you want to talk about debt, then we need to talk about BO. He's the king of driving up debt and giving us nothing to show for it.

Yep, Clinton tried the same thing by claiming it was a law enforcement issue the first time they tried to bring down the Trade Towers.
I'd bet this troll has no idea what we're talking about.

War, despite its horror and tragedy, is an instrument of Statecraft;
a reality the Greeks, who vanquished the Persians, and the
Romans who likewise crushed Carthage; fully internalized.
But as Lord Palmerston understood; War, was never to be
advocated for frivolous reasons.
Consider two of the the most notorious jackasses in our history and their reasons for War:
* Woodrow Wilson / "To make the world safe for democracy" and
* George W. Bush / "To "find weapons of mass destruction."
The USA and the world would be far better off if neither of these fools had become POTUS.

We knew Sadam had WMD. We gave them to him.
