She's had some success there. Under her watch, the department has eliminated 600 staff positions, bringing the total from 4,300 to 3,700.

"Well, I have long advocated for the notion that it would be great to work myself out of a job," she said.

The department will still be there when DeVos leaves, but it's getting smaller so long as she's around.

She's accomplished a lot of what's on her agenda. Democrats probably wouldn't like it if they were paying any attention.

I was thinking about her the other day. She has been very quiet and has basically stayed out of sight of the MSM and democrats. All the while she apparently has been dismantling the Education Department piece by piece. I hope she gets four more years to do her work. This department should be eliminated.

That's awesome!! The LSM called her everything from cancer to vampire and an executioner that hates children, when she took the job.
Obviously they have been distracted, because while the dims have been preoccupied with destroying their own party, Devos has taken a meat cleaver to their sacred cow, education!

Like the answer to the old joke about "What do you call 10,000 lawers at the bottom of the ocean?" the proper response is  this  is "a good start"

The 130 billion dollar budget for a group that does more harm than good is still ridiculous. The only thing they should be doing is ranking the educatiom systems in the states to hold their feet to the fire.

Most if not all of the vcd ABC .gov agencies should be eliminated.
