Title: NK Blinks North Korea says it's willing to give up nuclear weapons
Post by: Solar on March 06, 2018, 09:17:33 AM
President Trump said on Tuesday said "the world is watching" North Korea after the regime promised not to use nuclear or conventional weapons against Seoul and expressed a willingness to hold talks with the United States on denuclearization.

President Trump tweeted hours after South Korea's presidential national security director, Chung Eui-yong, released a statement detailing his rare two-day visit to North Korea. He praised the "possible progress" but remained cautious.

In this Monday, March 5, 2018 photo, provided by the North Korean government on March 6, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, front right, shakes hands with South Korean National Security Director Chung Eui-yong after Chung gave Kim the letter from South Korean President Moon Jae-in, in Pyongyang, North Korea. Independent journalists were not given access to cover the event depicted in this image distributed by the North Korean government. "Possible progress being made in talks with North Korea. For the first time in many years, a serious effort is being made by all parties concerned. The World is watching and waiting! May be false hope, but the U.S. is ready to go hard in either direction!" Trump tweeted.

There will be howls of anger & hate and demands for a recount by the left, if Trump forges some kind of peace in the Koreas, or Israel - ME.

They will be so bitter to see peace, and will demand a return to the violence.

This is how they've turned themselves into less than nothing.

Don't bet your ranch on NK being sincere. Trump knows this.

Ask yourself, why is NK participating in the O-games this year?
Ask yourself, why is the 'sister' w/ Pence?
Ask yourself, if controlled, how might you protect yourself and look for a way out?
Ask yourself, what is a distraction?
Ask yourself, why did Korea come together as a country v N&S?
Ask yourself, what occurred in Asia (ref pics) just prior to the O-games?
Ask yourself, what does FREED mean?
Ask yourself, do we want a WAR?
Ask yourself, who is trying to start a WAR?
Ask yourself, if a missile was launched by rogue actors, what would be the purpose?
Ask yourself, what would/should immediately start a WAR?
Ask yourself, would the PUBLIC understand the following statement: "Rogue actors (Clowns/US former heads of State) initiated a missile launch in order to 'force' the US into a WAR/conflict against X?"
Be the autists we know you are.
Those who cannot understand that we cannot simply start arresting w/o first ensuring the safety & well-being of the population, shifting the narrative, removing those in DC through resignation to ensure success, defeating ISIS/MS13 to prevent fail-safes, freezing assets to remove network-to-network abilities, kill off COC to prevent top-down comms/org, etc etc. should not be participating in discussions.

That is the book I'm waiting for, how the CIA was connected and what was the end goal of arming a commie regime?
Was it Marxist deep state actors back then, or was there another longterm plan but when the Dims took over after Bush, did the original mission suddenly change?

The media/political axis remains obsessed w/China and NK as keys to future world power.
Predicable malarkey, as he key to Asian power and by extension the world, is and will remain Japan.
Japan triumphed over China, economically and militarily for hundreds of years.
Additionally they occupied Korea for almost two generations.
They, not the Chinese, are the creative power of Asia.

True, the Chinese are not innovators, they are copiers, their teaching system does not promote individuality or free thinkers, they teach uniformity and loyalty to the communist party.
To work outside the box is seen as an insult to the party.

I'm guessing that the fat little pig got wind that the missle with his name on it was on the launch pad. Fear can be a great motivator.

Probably, that and the fact that China is worried that the US is willing to cut ties with China via trade.
China just warned Taiwan that they face attack if they sign an agreement with the US. This is just saber rattling at this point but they are truly in fear of Trump's America First policy and how he has the power to force other Nation's to follow our lead, this could devastate China and turn the clock back 50 years on their commie asses.
Trump is solidly in the drivers seat and China knows it.

China issues war alert to Taiwan over US Bill

BEIJING/TAIPEI • China warned Taiwan yesterday that it would only get burned if it sought to rely on foreigners, adding to warnings from state media that China could go to war over the territory if the United States passes into law a Bill promoting closer US ties with the self-ruled island.

The legislation, which needs only President Donald Trump's signature to become law, says it should be US policy to allow officials at all levels to travel to Taiwan to meet their Taiwanese counterparts, and permit high-level Taiwanese officials to enter the US "under respectful conditions" and meet US officials.

Beijing considers Taiwan a wayward province and an integral part of "one China", ineligible for state-to-state relations. China also has never renounced the use of force to bring Taiwan under its control.

China's Taiwan Affairs Office said the Bill was a serious contravention of the "one China" principle. "We also sternly warn Taiwan: Do not rely on foreigners to build yourselves up, or it will only draw the fire upon you," it said in a short statement.

Also, like Russia, they haven't evolved much past Genghis Khan or Vlad the Impaler.

They still are consumed by the desire to kill everybody on their borders and take their land, and happily do things like infanticide and genocide, against their own, as necessary.

They are still ~ 600 AD, culturally.  Maybe a chromosome or 2 out of place.

Japanese were just about as bad up through 1945, but maybe their fortunate inventions of electronics, the auto industry, and management science, have softened them into being civilized.

An remembrance from a long deceased Jesuit teacher who had spent two decades in Japan after WW2.
When Naval Commodore Perry sailed into Tokyo Harbor w/four sail-boats (literally) in 1853
it held up a mirror to the Japanese and they didn't like what they saw.
Being proud, they immediately resolved to shed their insularity and embrace the world.
Japan, an island nation-state like Britain, grasped that sea power was the foundation
of the British Empire and committed to follow that path. The rest is history.
The Pacific-Asia region became their lagoon where they were unchallenged.
Then in 1905, Czarist Russia engaged Japan in the Strait of Tsushima, off the sw coast of Korea.
There Russia suffered a catastrophic defeat, precipitating revolution in St. Petersberg,
after some 40 Dreadnoughts (Battleships )were sunk w/the loss of some 50,000 sailors.
Yet four decades later the Japanese Commander (Togo) was to meet his Waterloo versus the USA.
Nevertheless always pay attention to Japan.

Neither does anyone else, but NK was forced by China to the table for resolution, that in itself speaks volumes.
Nothing will come of the first round of talks, nor the second, but by design, it buys time for China and NK.
Ya see, Trump sent a carrier group into the China sea, meaning one Military floating city and all its support team, from destroyers to AWAKS, air support including a minimum of 50 attack ships, subs, drones etc.
In other words, a serious show of force, at the moment we're in Nam for the first time since 1973, when Nam ended, this sends another message and China is being pushed hard and was forced into some form of concessions to appease Trump, a man that is doing things they never anticipated because since before Reagan and after, the squishies have been in charger and appeasement is what China was used to and expected.

Tha all just changed, it also forces China to rethink their Silk Road policy, Hell, it forces China into revamping their 50 year plan of world domination economically.

On Sunday, fighter jets landed on an amphibious assault ship at an undisclosed location in the Pacific.

The Navy touted the move as a new era of weaponry in air and sea capability, and one of the most significant leaps in war-fighting for the Navy and Marine Corps.

The F-35B was assigned to the 31st Marine expeditionary unit based in Okinawa, Japan and will provide support to operations in the region.

The deployment comes in response to North Korea's nuclear ambitions, and China 's aggressive dominance over the South China Sea.

A detachment of F-35Bs, the U.S. Marine Corps' short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) variant of the supersonic fifth-generation F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter, deployed for the first time this week aboard the Wasp -class amphibious assault ship USS Wasp currently operationally deployed in the Indo-Pacific region.

"VFMFA-121 [Fighter Attack Squadron 121], assigned under the Okinawa-based 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, will remain embarked aboard Wasp for a regional patrol meant to strengthen regional alliances, provide rapid-response capability, and advance the Up-Gunned ESG concept," the service said in a March 5 statement.

"VMFA-121 pilots are scheduled to conduct a series of qualification flights on Wasp over a multi-day period. Following qualifications, the F-35B's and 2,300 Marines that make up the 31st MEU will deploy aboard ships of the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group [ESG] for follow-on operations in the Indo-Pacific region as part of a routine patrol to strengthen regional alliances, provide rapid-response capability and advance the Up-Gunned ESG concept."

The Up-Gunned ESG concept is meant to boost the combat power of amphibious ready groups.

The USS Wasp , commissioned in 1989, has a crew of over 1,000 officers and sailors and can embark around 2,200 Marines, as well as smaller amphibious assault crafts, and around 31 aircraft, including F-35Bs, AV-8B Harrier IIs, MH-60S Knighthawk helicopters, AH-1Z Viper helicopters, and MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft.
