'New sheriff in town' Nikki Haley is blowing up Obama's lead-from-behind UN strategy
...On day one of her tenure as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley promised that U.N. members' vicious demonization campaign against America and its allies would no longer be tolerated.
..."For those who don't have our back, we're taking names," she said in a short statement upon entering the Manhattan headquarters in January.
Pundits speculated about whether Haley would follow through with her tough talk. And it didn't take long for them to realize that she wasn't messing around. Haley indeed intended on treading a new path at Turtle Bay.
Shortly thereafter, she opened fire on the United Nations' anti-Israel hatred — a subject that was largely dealt with by false moral equivocations from the Obama administration.
"It is the U.N.'s anti-Israel bias that is long overdue for change ... The United States will not hesitate to speak out against these biases in defense of our friend and ally Israel," she said.
And the former South Carolina governor has made good on her promise. Ambassador Haley has emerged from the annual America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference as perhaps the only Trump administration official who has garnered bipartisan support. Haley has received recognition for her fierce defense of Western values and America's allies at the U.N....

Are you supporting the Obama approach in the UN concerning Israel?

Tell us - how many times? Provide some substance.
Haley has been excellent so far

That's a dumb-ass liberal gotcha questions. Obama was to much of a coward to vote condemning the great Jewish State of Israel. He choose the route of "abstaining". You know like all his "did not vote" as a senator.

Ummm, ZERO. None, nada, zilch, never. He DID make certain the last resolution condemning Israel received no vote at all - because Obama is cowardly pustule in addition to being an anti-Semitic prick.

The subject was Obama's abstentions, which (like the good leftist tool you are) you blithely ignored with a knee-jerk childish Bush question.

Shame on you child.

I just started wading in a bit on Nikki Haley's work with the U.N. I think I have a political crush - so refreshing to hear her talk straight to the UN and not just sit in meetings and come up with referendums and red lines that have no substance. As this thread identifies, She is also showing just how ineffective BO was - he was as gullible and ineffective as the UN as he hung all his actions. I take it from some posts that she has a RINO past that I'm not aware of, but she's on fire right now. I'm a fan based on her willingness to call the UN on their inability to cause any action to mitigate war and promote lasting peace. The move in Syria is an example of an action to keep stability by discouraging dictators, in a demonstrative way, from using WMD's - chemical, biological, nuclear. Keep it up Mrs. Haley! Thank you.

I agree with you. She has been a pleasant surprise. She was not totally supported by SC republicans as she did do things her way. I am not going to lose any sleep over her pissing off folks at the UN.

I believe he was talking about how obama would only vote "present" during his term as senator. As Governor of Texas, Bush did not vote with the congress, therefor could not "abstain" from voting.

You do know Boo was naked while jumping on a trampoline with a sheep and a big breasted barmaid playing the ukulele, right?
Not that this should influence your opinion of Boo in any way, just thought you should know he is generally a bit distracted when replying.
