Probably. She's always been quite conservative but I'd have see her complete platform. She's got balls. I like that (not in the Michelle Obama sense). She seems like someone who would not bend due to polls.

I have been watching her and feel she is being groomed for a POTUS run. The current gig as ambassador to the UN gives her foreign relations experience. And BTW, I think she is doing well. As governor of SC she took on the "good 'ol boy system" that runs the state. Quite frankly, that system has worked pretty well, but she tried to do some things they did not like. We shall see.

Not yet.   Some people need time to prove who they really are, she's one of them, IMO.

Nah.  She's tough at the UN, but as Governor the SJWs had their way with her.  She was a good pro-business governor though.

Nikki Haley: Confederate flag 'should have never been there'

What is your point in bringing this up 2 1/2 years after the event?

Isn't it obvious?

A question was asked .. I answered.

I'll admit, the SAME event came to mind, regardless of "what group" - what troubles me is the reversal after campaigning so vigorously for a position because of "public opinion"....?   What was it that got her ELECTED!?   Who voted for her?   The same people she campaigned over an issue so vigorously - she flipped on them.

IMO, sometimes people make MISTAKES by adopting a Hobby Horse and riding it into the ground, like they'd die before giving it up, when they should have just shut up about it and stuck to the real issues.

I like what she's doing at the United Nations - IMO, that's a pretty safe place to breathe fire and spit nails - they all hate us.
POTUS.... eh.... not so fast...  let a some time pass and build up a better/stable track record, IMO.
She's on the right track, now can she stay there...?

She had said that Trump was not 'dignified' enough to be President while she was stumping for Rubio.

In case some have forgotten ..

She gave a great many Southerners in South Carolina and elsewhere the back of her hand when she promoted removal of the Confederate flag from the soldier's memorial.

She falsely connected the flag to the Charleston murders, exploiting that despicable act for political gain, and started a war on Confederate heritage that radiated out to other states and into retail companies that continues today.

One result is that the Confederate Memorial in Louisville, KY was dismantled and removed from the University of Louisville.

Flags have been removed across the South.
Other monuments that have stood for a century or longer are in the leftist PC crosshairs, thanks to Nikki Haley's war.

She didn't build any bonds with Southerners who honor their unique heritage and the sacrifices of their ancestors.

Like I said ... I'LL PASS!
You found it!!!
I spent 20 minutes trying to find a link to that but for some reason, it just seemed to be buried. :glare:
I've always seen Haley as a RINO in sheep's clothing, playing the nice little moderate while lying to the base.

I don't know if she is a full blown moderate pretending to be a Conservative, or A conservative playing the moderate to appease the gop'E leadership.
Either way, I see her as third string in any election where actual Conservatives are running.
She has a long way to go to prove her mettle.

Maybe Cruz Veep? But I'm hoping trump dumps Pence for a Cruz ticket come 2020.

You have her pegged. She is playing to GOPe and they are fully compliant. That being said, she is a refreshing change at the UN for the USA.

Like you put it so well, ending with "I'll PASS!"   -  my current position as well.

But....

IMO, the UN is a pretty safe place, she has time to think about what and where she really wants to "represent", Libs, RINOs, TEA, or just become another John McCain clone a "Maverick".   She seems to be the latter, unaffiliated with anyone, but certainly wanting to grab the headlines - who really knows where she wants to end up??

Yep, not since John Bolton, Hell, I think he was the first to shit all over their worthless asses and Niki the second.
But like John Bolton, being a thorn in the side of UN communists was not enough to get him into office, let alone a shot at the Presidency.
