What's that they say about trying the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome?
I had to check the date to make sure this wasn't an old post, but nope, the morons are making a play of insanity.
Clicked on the October filing link, and you get this:

Slow learner, that Romney is.
Something odd here. He just established a new address in Utah, so it looks like he is considering Orin Hatch's seat when he vacates.
Whatever the RINO thinks about his chances, he has an education coming, the base wants no part of the leftist.

Well, the theory on that is Mormons are more about religion than party identity and will turn out for him regardless of him being a RINO. I hope not. One McCain and several junior McCains are enough.

Yeah, I can see that, but I can't imagine it will help the guy that essentially wrote Commiecare.

He is not a conservative, but everything I have heard is the UT GOP is lining up for him.
Why would he be tossing his hat in the ring in 2017 for a 2020 Presidental Election? Don't they wait until only aq year before and make a big press event out of it? Something is fishy about this.

This is about the senate race for 2018, not the 2020 presidential race.

Actually, it's about both. There's also talk of him running for Orin Hatch' Senate seat which is why he's establishing a Utah residence.
Example # 10,389 of why we're so sick of these assholes.
Always hanging around waiting for another opportunity to boost or salve their little egos.
Can never GTFO out of the public eye, always craving one more 'approval' or 'love you !'. What a silly little bitch.
Like Alexander or Bredesen or Corker or Haslam around here. They'll still be running for dog-catcher when they're 90, after having been rep-senator-mayor-governer all twice. I hate those guys.

Put in the time-line for more sense. the POTUS papers were filed in October, a period of time when publically it looked like President Trump might be on the "political ropes". Like a predatory politician, Mittens was preparing for what looked like a developing opportunity - which now looks like that opportunity has switched to Orin Hatch's seat.
If Mittens really wants to be a Senator, why isn't he running in Massachusetts, where he was Governor... and created his own version of Obamacare? I think he could easily unseat Fauxahantos - but he's obviously going after the Mormon vote instead in Utah. (he's a loser, looking for sympathy, IMO).

Which raises the question, what kind of idiot would pick Ryan, the second most despised RINO in the gop'E as his running mate?

Thank you. Hoofer. That makes perfect sense.

Its either that or JEbito
I would complain that Romney in the senate would bring it to a screeching halt, but hell, they only passed one bill. I guess it could be said he would bring it to a whispering halt?

Just another RINO in the senate. It will be a wash. Too bad the UT GOP has apparently gone all in for Romney. There should be a good true conservative from UT that would help the TEA cause.

One thing we can absolutely count on, Romney will try to elevate himself above the "fray" and become the "voice of reason in the Senate". And the MSM will quickly turn to him for a "balanced opinion" on critical issues involving President Trump - you know, when Mittens takes the Dem position, he knows the MSM will be beating on his door for air time.
I wish I could just close my eyes, and Mittens would just go away, but he loves those cameras, and he's trying on that polished wise & elderly statesman look (which he is not).
I liken him to a No-Seeum, they buzz around and manage to sneak through the insect netting and bite the hell outta ya, until you swat them hard enough to leave a bigger red mark than their bite ever could.
