One more for Trump!  "Betsy DeVos Was Right."

Perhaps one of the most pivotal moments came when she suggested that the United States' heavy federal investment in education has not yielded any results. Stahl hit back, asserting that school performance has been on the rise.

But the latest government data show otherwise. According to the recently released 2017 National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as the nation's "report card," we now have more evidence that DeVos was correct.

A family friend who writes letters of recommendation for students seeking
to attend ranking schools and/or work at entrepreneurial companies; told
me that these students have little chance in either area, for a simple reason.
When their attitudes,. behaviors and grades are measured against those born
of Indian, Korean and increasingly Chinese immigrant parents; they are grossly
outranked.
So much for our vaunted educational system.

The union would prefer to get rid of these "report cards". So would a certain amount of teachers. The last thing any union wants is employees being employed and paid based on performance.
