Welcome!

Tell us about your positions and how 'ya found us.

About us, we're a fact-based non-PC forum.  I'd say conservative forum, but being fact-based inherently makes us a conservative forum.  We get the occasional lib troll, Rubio drone, Trumper, and other forms of intellectually void Marxists wandering in here, sort of like a fly when it sees a nice web to take a rest on.  The only rule here is when debating and called on a point or position, you need to provide proof and back it up (hence the fact-based forum).  This makes it difficult for these academic, barista types to drive by and use the forum as a GOP/Marxist propaganda medium.

We have fun and love to ridicule liberals and their idiocy, so being a non-PC forum, if you're squeamish, you might want to find a nice RINO forum to join where they all hold hands and talk about getting along with the Marxists and support Marco Rubio.  Otherwise, jump in!

I'm new.  I'm not so much a conservative as a libertarian.  I don't go in for all the religious crap.  I just want the government to leave me and everyone else the hell alone!

I'm also not a fan of the hyper patriotic, flag waving, unthinking, let's start a war every five minutes neoconservatism (ie George W Bush) that passes for conservatism either.  No globalism, no crony capitalism, no new world order, no military industrial complex.  I prefer a true free market, non-interventionism (that's different from isolationism) and maximum personal freedom.

I do believe in protecting the borders and accurately identifying islam as a mental disease not a religion.

I'm for free trade as long as it doesn't f--- the American workforce.

I despise unions.

I hate the GOP establishment.

I hate the mainstream media.  This includes FOX news.  i'm more likely to get my news from Alex Jones, Lew Rockwell, Breitart, FPM or reason.com

I think W was a horrible president and don't go along with everything the GOP establishment says or does.  If I wanted to be a mindless, unthinking robot I'd just join the Dems and be done with it.

I could care less about gay marriage.  What two consenting adults do is their business not mine or anyone else's.

I have no problem with people smoking pot as long as you're not driving on public roads after/while you do it.

I'm pro life but not because Jesus tell me it's wrong.  I just know it's wrong.

I hate the FED.

I think the DOE should be disolved.

I f-ing hate, hate, hate Common Core!  I'd like throw the motherf-ers that support it into a giant woodchipper!

I believe climate change is a f-ing scam perpetuated by a bunch of fascist left wing scumbags because it is.

I, unlike many on this site it seems, know when to be  ideological and when to be pragmatic.   It seems like no one on this site understands pragmatism.

I follow world events not just American news.  I know what this stuff is;  EDL, Pegida, Marine Le Pen, Geert Wilders, Nigel Farage etc etc  You should too!

I guarantee that I can go toe to toe with any of you on this site in terms of absolute loathing and disdain for the leftist scum that pervade our society.

If you say something bad about Calvin Coolidge or Barry Goldwater or say something good about Woodrow Wilson or Barack Obama in my presence there's a very real chance you may be physically assaulted.

Did I make myself clear?

Any questions?

I searched to find this site, hoping to find factual, logical, informed discussion.  I'm very conservative.  Facts are what count for me, so I totally discredit false propaganda and irrational and/or religion based opinions.  For instance, I'm not a big Trump fan but don't tolerate deceitful propaganda about his positions, like false claims that Trump said he will be a different person as President.  I'm not impressed by religious attacks, including on evolution.

I hope to find people here who are reasonably well informed and unrestricted by political correctness.  For instance, I hope people here understand the difference between the two major branches of socialism (communism and fascism) and aren't too bound by political correctness to correctly characterize Obama and his ilk fascists.  For instance, I hope anybody buying into the global warming hoax isn't too committed to this secular religion to look at factual evidence.
Reality exists!  Stay informed!

That's a conservative position as well, but OK.

Would you concede to leave it to the state, and not force religious institutions to cater to something they don't want?  Also, do you not believe in the family unit?

No.  I have no problem with patriotism or showing support as long as the person is informed and can give an articulate argument for why America is a good nation.  There are a lot of people who wave the flag and say America's the greatest but cannot think critically or be objective.  People who can't even admit that we have our faults.  People who support all military action without questioning it.  Those people I have no use for.

Yes.  Religious institutions should not be forced to perform gay marriages.  Christian bakers and photographers have rights too.  I believe in the family unit but I don't believe being gay makes someone a bad person.

Yes, why do you call yourself a libertarian?

I call myself a libertarian because in my near 40 years on the planet, 20 of which I've actually paid attention, I've witnessed the fed and state govts do far more harm than good to the people of this nation.  I believe in maximizing personal freedom and limiting the governments involvement in peoples' lives.  People should be allowed to do pretty mcuh anything they want as long as they're not harming others.  We're currently in the age of the unhinged jihadi so I struggle greatly as a libertarian balancing safety with personal freedom.  It's a tough one.

Who cares.  Being pro-American doesn't come with an IQ test. We're the best country on the planet, so everything else is second.

Who cares if someone is gay?  Only stupid people who get spoon-fed Rachael Maddow's talking points confuse a traditional marriage stance with hating gays.  Are you capable of separating the two?

I can differentiate between the two..  To be honest gay marriage is not even on my radar as an issue.

So you were analyzing Reagan's foreign and domestic policy as an 11 year old?  Somehow I doubt that.

My dad is an expert in military history and teacher in that subject.  I grew up with military battle maps tacked on the walls.  But no, I wasn't aware too much of his foreign policy at that age, but knew some basics about the USSR's capabilities versus ours, and Reagan's main positions.  I do remember when Reagan was running for re-election and Mondale wanted to raise taxes.  I couldn't understand for the life of me why anyone would want to support someone who wanted to steal your income.  So, at that age, I understood Reagan was pro-private property and the Democrat wasn't.  I also understood Reagan's Star Wars initiative, and like today, it made sense to me when I was 10.  I was a hard core libertarian in my late teens/early 20s, until I realized how stupid and hypocritical my libertarian friends were.  Sounds like you, as a grown adult,  You need to grow up, son.

I see that this "fact-based" post gave a smidgeon of bashing to most all candidates, but for some odd reason, Cruz was left out. Is he totally fact-based and free of blemishes? Just wondering. Really now, doesn't everyone have their strong and weak points? How about Canook Cruz? Not too disgraceful a moniker, and worthy of a judges hearing on the "Natural Born Citizen" thingy which our government, in all its wisdom, hasn't yet come to a conclusion on. Whoda guessed that of our government?
One more liberal President in 2016 will mean the irreversible, eventual and total demise of our democracy. The rise and fall of democracy IS past the "apathy stage" at this moment. If this  momentum continues on its present path, restoration of democracy will require the least desired of actions.

So lets see, you claim Cruz has issues, yet fail to mention one, then spew some nonsense about natural born, and you wonder why no one takes you seriously?

One issue I have with Cruz is "body of Christ" completely over the top proselytizing on the stump in Iowa.

I don't believe in Jesus Christ and I find in insulting and annoying when "conservative" politicians think they can appeal to me that way.
