Might I add that many Japanese Americans served during WW2, Mostly in the European theater. In SOme cases their families were incarcerated in these camps....for shame.

My best friend was born in one near Sacramento, his mom got a check during the Regan years for recompense, she never voted Dim ever again.
It was also a DemocRAT (actually the founder of the DemocRAT Party) that placed the American Indians on the Trail of Tears and began the policy of placing Indian Tribes on reservations! The Cherokee Nation was referred to as being the only civilized tribe and they fought along side colonialists against other indian tribes and against the British for our war of Independence. Cherokee were even with Andrew Jackson before he founded the Democrat Party and defeated the British at the Battle of New Orleans. Jackson sold out to special interests as soon as he became President and got rich from approving the sale of Indian lands. He even placed the Cherokee nation on the Trail of Tears and had the US military move the whole lot of them to Oklahoma. (ethnic cleansing).
